Lifetime caring for dogs and even a couple of cats along the way. We (college daughter and I) miss our doggies, very happy to take wonderful care of yours! We can handle most reasonably well-behaved pets, including administering medication if needed. Super responsible, professional. Hanging out with us on the sofa? Okay! Snuggling while we binge watch Netflix, absolutely! We were always a dog (and cat) family and yours will be welcome to join. We cared for our dachshunds until the very end, with medications, physical accommodations, you name it. We are comfortable taking care of your special friend from (housebroken) puppy through senior! And..we are cat fans too, I had two great kitties for 10+ yrs, so don't be shy to ask for cat boarding! Don't hesitate to contact me to discuss any special situations, we will be as flexible as possible in order to give you a confident and comfortable situation for your pet. Please note: - we are happy to take two dogs or two cats from the same home, just contact me as our profile indicates a limit of 1 - daughter is home from college and she is happy to pick up and drop off, note additional fees

Rob is AMAZING! Butterbean loves the walks, attention and cuddles - he now knows the route to Rob’s and starts to get excited when he knows we are near! Highly recommend Rob as a kind, caring and super communicative Rover :)
Rob is simply amazing. I can’t imagine anyone better than Rob for Wendy’s (our dog) first daycare experience and we’re looking forward to becoming one of Rob’s repeat clients. Shortly after booking, Rob reached out to sort out the details. It becomes obvious right away that Rob is extremely experienced with dogs, and genuinely enjoys making sure they have the best day ever. Wendy was soo happy when I picked her up and no doubt was well exercised as Rob took her out to walks, and plays. Besides the amazing day Wendy had, Rob ensures the humans are updated throughout the day. Rob sent me several photos of Wendy and explained what they’ve been up to, which was reasuring and gave us confidence as this was our first daycare experience. I should also note, Rob is one of the nicest people I ever met! Thank you so much Rob, we’re so lucky to have met you!
It was love at first sight for Leo (our 100 pound retriever). I’ve never seen Leo instantly getting along with anyone. It was our very first time visiting Manhattan and we needed someone to take care of Leo for the day. Rob went above and beyond to help us out. Not only did Leo enjoy his day we also got the best and most practical sightseeing tips from Rob. Leo looked so content and fully pampered when we went to pick him up. Thank you for being so amazing with Leo and with us, Rob.
Had a great experience with Rob. Sent updates on Hudson, was very flexible on drop off and very good communication. We’d love for Hudson to hang with Rob again soon!

Schedule
I'm semi retired, home / out and about all the time. Have a great time always with client doggies, always at the park or dog run, super active and engaged to whatever level the dog (or cat!) is comfortable with.

Safety, trust & environment
Extremely diligent in the home, caution for cords or any other dangerous chewy stuff, we don't give human food to client pets, have a several decade relationship with local vet, all about health safety and fun for your beloved pet. While my daughter is come from university she will be facilitating dog walking bookings.
A typical day
Great downtown location, close to battery Park, dog run in the area. The weather is getting beautiful and we are very happy to be outside for a walk and play time
