Pogi's dad in Union City

I have owned dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, birds, and fish since I was a boy and currently am a rescue foster provider for special needs dogs with Queen's Best Stumpy Dog Rescue. I'm familiar with handling biters & barkers, shedders, droolers, epileptic dogs, anxious and disabled dogs. Comfortable with dogs that just want calm rest & space, long walks, or those that want to play. Familiar with handling medicine, wet & dry dog food. Little dogs and big dogs are just fine. I even have a dog stroller! Experience with crate training, pressure and release, tap and turn, sit, heel, lay down, turn, paw, fetch, place. Happy to provide multiple photos during our time together. Adopt don't shop!

Update review: RJ is great! He has been walking Remy for a few months now and gets along with him so well. He takes amazing photos and videos during their walk and most recently taught him the “shake” command and is working on a new one.

This was my first time using Rover and after meet and greets, I chose RJ to come care for my dog, Wyatt. RJ’s communication and pet sitting care are superb. Wyatt is a special needs dog because of his elbow dysplasia, so he needs specific care. RJ followed my instructions and he asked relevant questions when in doubt. He took pictures and videos which gave me assurance that all was well while I was gone and that Wyatt was happy. I will definitely reschedule RJ to care for Wyatt again. Thank you, RJ!

RJ takes such good care of Remy and every time he comes to pick him up for a walk he gets super excited to go out and explore. He’s very detailed about their adventures and always sends the cutest pictures and videos from their walks together.

RJ took great care of Remy on his walk. He’s communicative, friendly, and transparent about everything. It’s my first time using Rover and it can be stressful finding someone to trust your fur baby with but I instantly felt comfortable with RJ and most importantly Remy did. He sent photos and videos throughout the walk which I loved.

Our rescue dog is a senior dog and spends most of his time watching squirrels in the backyard at our home. He uses a wheelchair: when he was 6 he suffered from Invertebrate Disc Disease (IVDD) common for corgis. He has control over his bowels but sometimes smears if he is in a weird position, so we sometimes use belly bands. Otherwise, he's really fast! For your dog, please provide regular potty time(s) and eating schedule, allergy & dietary limits/preferences, favorite walking spots & dogs favorite safe spaces.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
