Whether your pet is a social butterfly, a professional napper, or the self-appointed ruler of the house, I'm always happy to meet them on their terms. I was lucky enough to spend 13 wonderful years with my own dog, so I know first-hand the love, laughter, and occasional chaos that comes with sharing life with a pet. While I'll always have a soft spot for dogs, if I’m being completely honest, my personality is pretty cat-like; chill, observant, respectful of personal space, and always up for a good nap or a spot in the sun. In a nutshell feed me and tell me I'm pretty, haha. Maybe that's why I have such a soft spot for cats and genuinely enjoy earning the trust of even the most independent ones. Whether your pet loves long walks, needs a little extra patience while they warm up, or believes laps exist solely for their personal use, I'm happy to adapt to whatever makes them feel most comfortable. A bit more about me: wake up at around 4:45am can't figure out how to reset my internal clock (I've tried). You'll usually find me at the gym, cooking, eating or thinking about my next meal while watching tv, reading, or on a walk. I also know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pets with someone else, I remember that feeling well. That's why I make it a point to send plenty of photos, little video updates, and check-ins, so you can relax and enjoy your time away knowing they're happy, comfortable, and in good hands while you're away.

House Sitting & Boarding: A relaxed, safe environment where your pets can stick to their normal routines and feel totally comfortable. Drop-In Visits: Perfect for feedings, fresh water, litter box clean up, belly rubs, or a quick game of feather-wand/fetch. Dog Walking: Relaxed or energetic neighbourhood walks to stretch those legs and get some fresh air.

RJ was absolutely fantastic with our boy Rufus - not only did RJ facilitate a last minute request to sit for Rufus in our home but it was also very clear that he had read up about Rufus on our profile and knew lots of details about him. This already placed us at ease that Rufus would be in reliable and caring hands, and we were not proved wrong. We could not recommend RJ highly enough. We also received photos whilst we were out showing Rufus getting lots of attention! Thanks RJ for showing such love and care!
RJ was reliable, friendly and on time when looking after my dog Bertie. He was responsive when needed and shared plenty of updates on request and ad hoc. Will be using again and would use and recommend again.

Schedule
My schedule is currently very flexible, so I have plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping them company, I can work around their routine rather than trying to fit them into mine. For me, a few walks, some fresh air, and hanging out with a pet beats staring at a screen all day. I like getting to know each animal's personality, whether that's a dog who's determined to sniff every tree in the park or a cat who's happy to have a quiet companion nearby. Whatever makes them feel comfortable, I'm happy to go at their pace (with cuddles on offer whenever they're interested!).
