I have recently switched jobs so I have a lot more free time on my hands and am finally able to get started with Rover after wanting to job for years. This way I can take care of and love on all of the animals and I can take some of the responsibilities off of another animal parent because I know it can be hard sometimes.

My dog gets two meals a day and a snack around lunch time. We go on a short morning walk and a longer evening walk after dinner. For overnight house sitting my goal is to make sure to follow the routines that clients already have in place for their pets as not to change their schedules. My boyfriend Cameron and I love taking care of the dogs and giving them a special staycation
Information Riya L. would like to know about your pet
I would like to be informed of their temperament, it would just be so I know how best to engage with the dog. I would also like to know what medications they are taking and if they have health conditions. Other things I would ask if what the animals favorite playtime activity is or where their favorite scratch spot would be.
A typical day
I take them on walks and to parks, I tend to stay away from dog parks because there is too high of a chance for an incident to occur. There is a nature preserve near my apartment that my dog loves to walk through and since there is an even dirt road it’s easy to manage him even though he is a high energy dog.

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I was never allowed to have a dog growing up so I would help out my neighbors wherever i was living at the time when they were at work. I also volunteered at an animal shelter for a couple years and went through proper training on how to take care of and make both dogs and cats feel as comfortable as possible. I was finally able to convince my parents to let me have a dog and I have been the main caretaker of my golden doodle smudge for about three years now

Riya stayed with our pups in our home for a full week and she was wonderful. The dogs loved her and I got pictures and updates all week. She took great care of the dogs and my home!
Riya went above and beyond for our senior pup. He had tummy troubles while we were away, and she kept him happy and comfortable, and kept us updated the whole time we were gone. I would highly recommend Riya and would definitely items book her again!
We couldn’t have asked for more. We were traveling with our “fur baby” and Riyah watched her several times when we were going to places that weren’t quite pet -friendly-haha. She did an amazing job and our Bambina adored her. Riyah is definitely forever our “go to” person for pet care in the Chicago area!!!
Winston and Ginny loved having Riya on their staycation!
