Dogs are life, and they bring me endless joy. I know how challenging it can be to balance work, family, and caring for a beloved pet. My goal is to give you peace of mind by making scheduling easy and ensuring your dog feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I work from home most days, which means I can spend the entire day with your dog. I live in a dog-friendly neighborhood with access to a secure fenced area, and my home is fully stocked with toys, food, and water bowls. We’ll enjoy at least three long walks a day—often at the Arboretum or through Forest Hills—so your pup will get plenty of exercise and stimulation. I’m patient and understanding with dogs who may have separation anxiety, lots of energy, or are adjusting to time away from their owners. To make sure it’s a great fit, I do ask that all dogs in my care are fully house-trained, have no history of accidents, and are in good health without medical issues. This way, your dog can enjoy a safe and stress-free environment, and I can give them the very best attention. I know it can be hard to trust someone new with your furry family member, so I’m always happy to answer questions or arrange a meet-and-greet in Roslindale. With a relaxed weekday schedule and availability most weekends, I’m flexible and communicative about my time. In my spacious apartment, your dog will be treated like family—loved, safe, and given plenty of attention. Let’s make sure your best friend has a wonderful time while you’re away!

we are seriously the luckiest people ever to have found riya. like… best dogsitter on the planet. no exaggeration. our pup had the absolute time of his life — so many walks, so many cuddles, and so many photos that made us literally squeal every time we got an update. riya paid attention to every little detail we mentioned and treated our dog with so much love and patience. we could fully relax on our trip because we knew our baby was in the best hands. we came home to a happy, calm, perfectly cared-for pup who clearly adored his new bff. forever grateful and already planning our next booking. if you get the chance to book riya, don’t even think twice — just do it!!!
We honestly don’t know what we would do without Riya now. From the very first message, he was incredibly kind, responsive, and so thoughtful about our dog’s needs and quirks. During the stay, he sent the most adorable pictures and videos EVERY day — playtime at the park, cozy naps on the couch, fun little adventures around the neighborhood. Our dog looked so joyful and relaxed the entire time. You can tell Riya truly loves animals with his whole heart, and our pup could feel that too. We feel like we found a hidden gem on Rover — the BEST sitter we could ever hope for. Beyond thankful and absolutely booking again and again!

There’s a secure, fully fenced area nearby for safe play and sniff breaks, and we’re perfectly positioned for scenic, enriching walks through the Arboretum and the surrounding neighborhood. Inside, I’m stocked with toys, food, and water bowls so your pup has everything they need. For the best fit, I host dogs who are fully house-trained, have no history of accidents, and are in good health without medical issues.
A typical day
A typical day with a dog in my care starts with a refreshing morning walk through the Arboretum or along the quiet, tree-lined streets of Forest Hills. Afterward, we enjoy interactive play sessions at home with a variety of toys. Midday, we head to a secure fenced area nearby for safe play and exercise. In the afternoon, we go on another long walk or a relaxed jog around the neighborhood or back to the Arboretum, making sure your pup gets plenty of fresh air and activity. Throughout the day, I provide constant attention, mental stimulation, and affection so your dog feels happy, safe, and well cared for.
