Hi there! I have been working with dogs since I got my first dog at age 6! I am a certified volunteer with a no-kill shelter and have been for coming up on 4 years. I have experience walking, bathing, and dog-sitting.

I cannot thank River enough for accepting my last minute request. I am from out of town and she quickly responded with a yes. To me that’s going above and beyond my expectations of a dog sitter. River kept me informed on how they were doing and sent pictures. My dogs were well taken cared of. If I’m back in Santa Cruz and in need of a sitter, I know who I’ll be reaching out to.
River is great. I had a last minute cancellation and River was quick to respond. My dog was very happy while I was away. I will definitely be using River again!
Amazing petsitter for my cat! Very professional and communicative. River did a fabulous job texting me updates and in the photos I could tell that my cat loved snuggling with River.
As always, very happy with River caring for our 17-yo doggy Bruce. She’s so loving, responsible, conscientious, responsive, and totally understands what it is like to leave your baby. I never worry when she’s here!

River is a great communicator, checks in regularly, and took great care with our home. Our pup was calm and tuckered out - signs that Emi had been on a long walk and had sufficient snuggles. We’ll gladly have River back the next time we need pet care!
