Hello and welcome to my Rover profile. I am River and I have been working through the Rover app for over 6 years now. Luther and myself have had the honor and pleasure of making the acquaintances of hundreds of dogs over the years and I credit Luther for all the wonderful friendships and relationships we’ve made through the years. I offer a range of services, but most of my bookings come from boardings and daycare. I am available for house sitting as well, but my preference is always to board in my home. I offer a large secure and fenced in backyard, that feels like a dog park. Access to water is my top priority, so I assure to keep your fur baby hydrated throughout their stay. I also provide a variety of dog treats, toys and additional dog bowls for feedings. Due to the impact of inflation, especially in Minnesota I have had to update and increase my charges for everything, especially in regards to sitter pickup/drop off. I apologize sincerely for any inconvenience, but this is required to keep me afloat. Boarding - Boarding, which will have a set drop off time of 3 pm and set pickup of 12 pm/noon, the following day. Unless the stay is multiple days, then the pickup will be 12pm/noon on the final day of the stay. Boarding will no longer exceed 24 hours. I will provide a grace period of a few hours, but once we've reached 24 hours, you will need to pay for daycare. (If the drop off time of 3 pm and pick up time of 12pm/noon need to be modified, we can discuss that ahead of booking the stay.) Daycare - The initial cost for a day of daycare is for up to 8 hours. Anything beyond 8 hours, I will charge accordingly. These changes will also affect housesitting requests as well. I will start at 3 pm the first day and end at 12pm/noon the last day, not exceeding 24 hours. If my services are needed beyond 24 hours on the final day, there will be a drop in charge added to the booking. I do want to apologize if the changes I am making result in you choosing another sitter or boarding facility. And I truly wish you and your fur baby or fur babies all the best. After doing some extensive research, I have come to the conclusion that this is the best option for my family and business. Thank you for your time and patience. Rover has become my full-time job, so other than quick trips to the gym a few times each week, I am home with the fur babies all day/night. Dogs have free roam in the backyard, which is turned into an oasis in spring and summer with kiddie pools, beach umbrellas and an abundance of balls for fetching.
