Looking for a loving home away from home for your pet? We're Rita & Anthony, experienced pet sitters and remote-working professionals who provide attentive, personalised care in our spacious home in the mountains. Plenty of walks, cuddles, and companionship guaranteed! -------------- Although we're new on Rover, we've been house and pet sitting together since 2016 through other sites and referrals, caring for animals of all kinds - dogs, cats, horses, chickens and more. We both grew up with cats in our homes and later adopted our beloved rescue dog Sunny into our family. Although we sadly lost her last year, she only deepened our love and understanding of animals. And so our home and our hearts are open to receive and care for your furry companion. Over the years, we've also looked after countless pets for friends and family, giving us experience with animals of all ages, personalities and needs. We're confident with puppy training, reinforcing good habits, and supporting dogs with behavioural challenges, including reactivity, using calm, patient and positive approaches. Because we both work from home, your pet will have company and regular walks throughout the day, so they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while you're away. We know how much trust it takes to leave your beloved pet in someone else's care, and we treat every animal as if they were our own.

Finding someone you truly trust with your pets can be so tough, but Rita & Anthony made it effortless from day one. They are such a incredibly warm, kind, and welcoming couple, and our dogs took to them instantly - they felt safe, relaxed, and right at home. We loved receiving all the sweet photo and video updates while we were away! Seeing our dogs so happy and cared for gave us total peace of mind. Rita and Anthony treated them like their own family, and we couldn't be more grateful. We will definitely be relying on them again and can't recommend them enough!
Thanks to Rita and her BF our vacation was so much more enjoyable - knowing that our furry babies were in good hands at home meant a lot! And I'm sure kitties will be happy to see them again, too!
Me gustó muchísimo la experiencia. Ellos son súper amables, atentos y se nota que realmente les interesan los perros y su bienestar. Nos mandaron muchísimas fotos y vídeos durante la estancia y estuvieron siempre pendientes de ellos, lo que nos dio muchísima tranquilidad. También nos encantó cómo hicieron la presentación con los perros, de una manera muy cuidada y respetuosa. Sin duda vamos a repetir. ¡Muy recomendables! 🐶❤️
Rita y Anthony son unos cuidadores de 10!! Nuestro perro es un perrete nervioso que extraña al principio, pero desde un primer momento estuvo suuuuper contento y relajado con ellos. Nos mantuvieron al tanto con un montón de vídeos y fotos y estuvimos super tranquilos sabiendo que Teo estaba en buenas manos. Sin duda alguna, repetiríamos con ellos. De hecho, Teo estaba muy triste cuando se tuvo que despedir de ellos de lo bien que se lo pasó en sus vacaciones.

Rita y Anthony son maravillosos. Muy cuidadosos, atentos con las necesidades de cada perro, y comprometidos con su cuidado. Nuestros perros los adoran, especialmente Decker 🐶 quien cada vez que los ve les da un fuerte abrazo. Tienen una casa ideal para tener a los perritos, con mucho espacio y campo para caminatas largas. Los perros siempre están acompañados ya que ambos teletrabajan. Para nosotros son los cuidadores ideales ya que siempre están en compañía de ellos y les dan mucha atención. Totalmente recomendados!

Schedule
We're both self-employed digital freelancers, so we're around for most of the day and can give your pet plenty of attention and companionship. We love taking regular walking breaks in the beautiful, quiet mountains where we live, making daily walks a natural part of our routine. Thanks to our flexible schedules, we can easily adapt our day and week to suit your pet's needs, whether that's extra walks, playtime, feeding schedules, or simply keeping them company.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet's safety, comfort and routine are our top priorities. We live in a spacious, single-storey home in a peaceful countryside setting, with plenty of quiet walking routes right from our doorstep and no busy roads anywhere near. While our garden isn't fenced, pets are always supervised outdoors (and leashed unless specified otherwise) and never left unattended. Inside, they'll have a calm, cool and comfortable environment and lots of companionship throughout the day. We don't currently have any pets of our own, so your pet will have our full attention and care.
A typical day
A typical day with us usually begins with a morning walk on a quiet mountain trail just outside our home, followed by breakfast, rest, cuddles. Throughout the day, we'll go on shorter walks, enrichment and playtime, before finishing with another longer evening walk. And of course we keep you updated with plenty of photos and videos, so you can relax knowing they're happy, safe and having a wonderful time.
