Hi, I'm Rita! I am an active, fun-loving person. Think of me as the fun aunt who comes over to spoil the fur babies and have fun adventures while you’re gone! Some of my customers even call me Auntie Rita! I am here to give you peace of mind that your dogs and home are in good hands! Whether you’re out of town or have a busy day and just need me to drop in, I will provide the best care. I am loving, nurturing, and trustworthy. I have been a dog owner for 11 years, and I have helped friends and family over the years with their pets. I have several regular customers, and I only take on one family at a time for house sitting/overnight stays to ensure your babies get all of my attention and affection. I am very reliable and responsible, and I will take great care of your dogs and your home. Every dog has such a unique personality and needs. I have experience with senior dogs, shy/fearful dogs, reactive dogs, high energy dogs, and lots in between! We can keep it simple with a walk, jog, go to the park, play fetch, sunbathe, chill at home, whatever your dog loves the most. I do not currently have a dog of my own, but was a dog owner for 11 years until recently. I had 2 French bulldogs, Ralph and Frankie, who I absolutely adored and spoiled. I volunteer for Stray Rescue St. Louis and Care Stl, and have lots of experience walking and playing with the shelter dogs. I also fostered a dog with Care Stl after my sweet Frankie passed away in December 2024.

Safety, trust & environment
I will stick with your dog’s routine! We will make sure to get out for plenty of potty breaks and walks or playtime. I am very mindful of the weather, and will adjust accordingly. We will have plenty of playtime, snuggles and belly rubs! I am happy to keep up with any medication and grooming routines as well. I will take care of your fur babies and home the same way I take care of mine, which is with love and respect. I love to send photos and updates, as I would want the same!

Rita was wonderful. She sent me updates and pictures every day. Agatha, my dog, loved her. Agatha clearly felt safe and happy and secure with Rita. I will definitely book her again when I need a dog sitter.
Rita was awesome! She did a great job of taking care of our older, anxious dog. We knew he was in good hands! She was really responsive and great with sending pictures and updates. She took great care of our home while we were away. I would definitely recommend Rita!

Rita is very professional, friendly, and detailed oriented. She loves our dogs and takes great care of them. She always shows up on time, follows all special instructions, and has really developed a genuine bond & loving relationship with our pets. Schedule
I work from home pretty much full time, and I can be flexible to meet your needs. I can bring my laptop and work from your home while you are away. I’ll usually leave a couple hours each day to go to the gym or run errands.

- I would like to know if your dog has any special needs - such as injuries, breathing issues, allergies, and if they have any sensitivities to temperature (for example - french bulldogs are very sensitive to heat, and have breathing issues). Also let me know if your dog has any quirks, such as stealing socks and chapstick 😅 Let me know if they are dog reactive or if they bark at cars (my dog Frankie hated cars and bikes!) if they like things a certain way, I want to keep them comfortable and happy. I am a very detail oriented person, and I like to be prepared and organized, so give me as much information as you have, no detail is too small!
