You may notice a gap in our recent reviews, we took a short break for personal reasons, but we are so excited to be back! We truly love every 'furry' guest we host and can’t wait to meet yours. I currently work a hybrid schedule, so I am unable to accept dogs with severe separation anxiety. However, I am a great fit for pups who are comfortable being home for up to 4.5 hours (half a workday). For the other half of the day, I work from home and your little one will have my full attention! Every dog has a unique personality. The more you share about their specific needs and quirks, the better we can ensure they have a wonderful 'staycation' while you’re away. Please reach out with any questions!

Rita was the perfect sitter for our Ernie. I was very anxious about leaving him with someone outside of the family for the 1st time & Ernie was only a pup. But she kept us up to date with messages & pictures while we were away. Which put my mind at ease. Ernie settled in well & was very happy with Rita.. Will deffinatly be using her again..😀
Absolutely amazing from start to finish. Wilf is a happy boy So glad to have him back but he has been taken care of to the highest standard Thank you so so much. Nothing was too much or a situation that couldn't be sorted. Xxx
Rita is A*!! Such a lovely person and gave us updates on our dog as it was the first time he had stayed with someone he didn’t know. The Rover app is a great idea and our first experience of it with Rita was fantastic. We will definitely use Rita again. Thank you .

From the moment Aika and Rain met Rita, we knew they were going to be well looked after. Being big dogs, it can be a challenge to walk them both at the same time but Rita wasn't phased and we were able to go away with the peace of mind knowing that everything was going to be OK. Rita left the house spotless, we had regular contact via WhatsApp and she even made a gorgeous video of 'Aika and Rain's Weekend' which was a lovely surprise! We would highly recommend Rita and will be contacting her again in the future ☺️

Schedule
We know leaving your dog can be stressful for both of you. Your pet's well-being is our top priority. A meet and greet is essential so we can assess compatibility and how quickly your dog settles into a new environment. If everything goes well, we recommend a trial stay. We want to ensure your dog is happy and relaxed while you're away. While we'd love to care for every dog, we're unable to accept pets with separation anxiety or those who cannot be left alone, as our setup doesn't allow for 24/7 home care. However, you can be confident that your dog will receive lots of love and attention during their stay with us!

For the garden: "We have a private, fenced-in garden in the front and a tiered garden in the back, offering your dog safe spaces to explore and relax." For the canal walks: "I'm familiar with some scenic canal paths perfect for calm walks and playtime. These offer a peaceful alternative to busier city areas."
A typical day
Activities Tailored to Your Pup: Our outings can be adjusted based on the weather and your dog's preferences. Here are some options: Calm Canal Walks: Scenic canal paths are perfect for a leisurely stroll, allowing your pup to sniff and explore in a peaceful environment. Woodland Adventures (Weather Permitting): If the weather cooperates, we can head to the woods for a more adventurous walk. This is a great option for energetic dogs who enjoy fetching sticks or chasing balls. Basic Training Integration: Looking to brush up on your dog's obedience? I'm happy to incorporate basic command practice during our walks, helping them learn in a fun and positive way. (Note: This would be for basic commands, not extensive training).
