I currently work from home, but I am happy to provide late morning to early afternoon pet care for you and your pets during the week, be that potty break and lunch or playing in the backyard. I am happy to accommodate what suits you and your pup best. If you are in need of more of a pet sitting scenario during the day for up to 5 hours please feel free to message me.

Be that taking them for a walk in the neighbourhood or playing with them in their backyard whatever would suit your dogs personality and activity requirements best.

If your dog has any medical conditions, medications, anxiety or special requirements I'd love to discuss those prior to pet sitting or walking during our initial meet and greet to make sure the dog is comfortable and well cared for while under my care.
A typical day
After the initial meet and greet, and once your dog gets settled we will hang out and then we will head out for a walk to explore the neighbourhood or play in the backyard. Depending on your dogs preference I'm happy to play ball, frisbee, "go find it", tug of war, or hang out depending on the dogs energy needs.

I am an experienced pet owner with dogs and cats, as well as volunteer regularly at the shelters. I am comfortable with dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels, including rescues. I understand canine body language, routine and the importance of safe, compassionate and reliable care.

Rita was an excellent dog walker! I wish we still lived in the same city so that I could lean on her for my beloved animals —- we had a shih tzu, alongside our current dogs, golden retriever, poodle, corgi and shepherds. Really different temperaments so I was really happy that we could have Rita’s expertise. Wouldn’t trust any other dog walker.
