I am currently only boarding repeat clients in my home. I don't have a fenced in yard but I will take your dogs out for at least 1 half hour walk on a leash or otherwise engage them in exercise and play.

Information Rita B. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know the size and breed of your dog and how they react around other dogs and pets. Knowing their feeding and potty break schedule would also be helpful along with any special needs your pet needs. I do expect all pets to be updated with their vaccines and tick and flea and other treatments.
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dog physically and mentally. I look forward to exploring your neighborhood with your dog. Dogs need to smell and explore, but I can also help with issues such as pulling and we can discuss any reactivity issues your dog may have on a walk.

Pet care experience
Hello pet parents! I'm Rita, your devoted and dependable pet sitter, committed to ensuring your cherished family members receive unparalleled care and attention while you embark on your travels, enjoying complete peace of mind. With a profound love for animals and over seven years of experience as a professional pet sitter, I recognize the significance of going beyond basic care. My goal as your pet sitter is to create a warm and affectionate environment, making your time away stress-free and your pets' experience thoroughly enjoyable. My lifelong exposure to dogs and cats started with my dad raising Irish Setters during my early years, and we had the joy of growing up with a German Shepherd. Throughout my adult life, I've had two dogs and two cats, and for over 25 years, I've been entrusted with the care of dogs from friends and family. I find immense joy in walking and engaging in a bit of running with dogs, as well as working on tricks and training. Recognizing the importance of mental stimulation, I enjoy playing various games that stimulate your pets' minds. For those undergoing crate training, I implement crate training games to enhance their comfort. My experience spans across a multitude of breeds, including Boxers, English Bulldogs, French Bulldogs, Australian Shepherds, Saint Bernards, and many more. I particularly adore caring for senior pets, offering assistance with medication administration and even spoon-feeding if required. I adhere to the belief that dogs shouldn't be left alone for more than 4 to 6 hours and should not be outside alone, prioritizing their safety. During house-sitting, your home becomes my base of operations, and I ensure meticulous care, surpassing the standards of my own home. Your space will be maintained or improved upon, including tasks such as bringing in mail and packages, taking out the garbage, watering plants, and tending to any other small details that require attention during your absence. Your trust is paramount, and the safety and well-being of your pets are my highest priorities.
Reviews

Our young dog (2yrs) has seizures, along with that many medications to be given. She did incredible with both. She is amazing with our boys! A 5yr old Chihuahua and a 2yr old Pekingese/Shih Tzu/mix.

Rita did a great job taking care of our dog, Lucy while we were on a weeklong vacation. She took Lucy on multiple daily walks, played with her inside and out and kept us in the loop with photos. Rita also took care in our home leaving it as she found it and bringing in the mail for us. We hope to use her for future trips.

Rita was amazing with my boys while my husband and I were away! Her experience in administering medications eased my mind. We have a young dog who requires a strict med schedule and she was on point in maintaining that schedule.
We recently had Rita take care of our 16 1/2-year-old golden doodle, Bailey, while we were out of the country for two weeks. Given Bailey's age and his inability to be left alone for long periods of time, I was very nervous about leaving him. We haven’t traveled much lately because of these concerns, but Rita was an absolute lifesaver. She sent daily updates and pictures, which gave me such peace of mind. Not only did she care for Bailey with the utmost attention, but she also took great care of our home. I highly recommend Rita for anyone needing a reliable and caring pet sitter!
