I am a full-time social worker, working in the community and with children. I have always enjoyed caring for animals and am good at reading their body language. I started working through Rover to help pay for school, and have stayed with it because I really love dogs so much! My husband Joe will occasionally assist depending on scheduling needs. Joe is a Rover-verified walker and will assist only with your prior approval/meet and greet.

Information Risa S. would like to know about your pet
I'd like to know the age, breed, and temperament of the doggo, likes and dislikes (does he like tummy rubs or chin scratches, etc). Knowledge of eating, exercise, and bathroom routines will help me provide the best care! For overnight dogsitting visits, we can discuss how often your dog needs to be walked or let out during the day in addition to the overnight stay. *Full "24/7" care will be charged at a premium rate.* Large dogs may be charged at a higher rate. I have had a range from akitas to chihuahuas to pitties, so I'm very comfortable with all sizes and energy levels!
A typical day
Depending on the needs of the individual, I love to play tug of war, fetch, soccer, and running with dogs. Visiting a near-by park is always fun too!

I have 23 years of experience caring for dogs, 9 years as a Rover walker. I will give your doggo the attention they deserve for being so darn cute! I'm very reliable and flexible, and would love to hear about you and your dog's routines, personalities, or anything else you'd like to share to make the experience as fun and comfortable as possible for your furry friend.
