Hey there! My name is Risa! I have grown up with animals all my life. Growing up, I found my passion early on. My passion has driven me to aspire to become a veterinarian. I am passionate about making sure that all pets are cared for and happy! I make sure to cater to your fur babies needs and stick to their schedule so they are most comfortable! I have 8 years experience working and handling dogs, as I have worked and managed at a dog boarding facility. I am now working as a veterinary assistant at a vet hospital! I am very comfortable with all breeds and sizes of dogs. I feel accomplished knowing that a dog is tired out from a good day of play or a long walk. Aside from dogs and cats, I also have experience with horses, chickens, and small animals (ferrets, bunnies, etc)! Have a special needs fur baby? I am experienced with administering injectable medicine such as insulin! Since working at my veterinary hospital, I have also learned how to express a bladder for fur babies who are paralyzed! Seizure baby? No problem! I have a set protocol for seizures (if they do happen) to keep them as safe as possible! I have been CPR and first aid certified for canines and feline for 3 consecutive years as well!
