I am currently working part-time and have a very flexible schedule. I’m available for pet care many weekends and most days of the week! I can often move my schedule around to fit you and your pet’s needs.

Note: My house is located 15 minutes from downtown Durango in Durango West 2. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly dog named Kuma who can keep your pet company! I have my own crate to use if needed. I live near many great trails, ideal for long walks in the sunshine.

A typical day
I like to give dogs things to do that stimulate them both mentally and physically. We’ll play lots of games together, especially those that particularly excite your pet. If your dog likes water, I have a few spots on the river and on hikes that are great for playing and splashing. There are many trails near my house which are ideal for going on long walks away from busy roads. Walks around my neighborhood also provide plenty of interesting smells for your dog to enjoy.

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs, cats, and horses since I was a child, and began pet-sitting when I was 14. Neighbors, family, friends, and friends of friends have all found me to be a trustworthy caretaker of their furry friends. I have lots of experience taking care of pets in their home environment and following the particular regimens that each pet needs. I have experience training animals, specifically puppies and untrained older dogs. I am confident dealing with large and energetic dogs, and from experience know how to help animals warm up to me.
