Each pet is unique, so my first step is always to listen to the person that knows them best—you! I’ll make sure to include favorite games, toys, and walking routes, as I find that having something familiar and fun makes it easier for your pet to get used to not having their usual people around.

At a party, I’m the person who ends up spending most of the evening on the floor with the dog. While I love people and pride myself in my ability to communicate effectively, I’ve always felt most comfortable with animals, and as a result, find that they tend to be comfortable with me. I started petsitting for neighbors and friends in middle school, and have been walking dogs and caring for pets of all kinds ever since! From senior cats and disabled dogs to baby cornsnakes and big bugs, I’ve done it all—no matter how many legs your friend has, I’m here to help you care for them.

Having Rio stay at our house with our pets was such a gift!! I can’t recommend her more… you won’t be disappointed. We felt comfortable from the get go with Rio and we had great peace of mind while we were gone. Her professionalism and communication were greatly appreciated!
Rio is an excellent house and dog sitter! She stayed at our home with our 20 months old lab who has a lot of energy and is not used to being away from us. Rio walked her twice a day, took her to get a lot of exercise at the dog park, and treated her like a princess! We got several videos and pictures of our happy dog while we were away for 5 days. We came home to a tidy house and a very happy dog! I highly recommend Rio as a pet and house sitter and I will definitely use her again!
Rio is a wonderful dog walker. She took great care of my pup, was punctual and communicative. I'll be calling her again.
