At a party, I’m the person who ends up spending most of the evening on the floor with the dog. While I love people and pride myself in my ability to communicate effectively, I’ve always felt most comfortable with animals, and as a result, find that they tend to be comfortable with me. I started petsitting for neighbors and friends in middle school, and have been walking dogs and caring for pets of all kinds ever since! From senior cats and disabled dogs to baby cornsnakes and big bugs, I’ve done it all—no matter how many legs your friend has, I’m here to help you care for them.

Having Rio stay at our house with our pets was such a gift!! I can’t recommend her more… you won’t be disappointed. We felt comfortable from the get go with Rio and we had great peace of mind while we were gone. Her professionalism and communication were greatly appreciated!
Rio is an excellent house and dog sitter! She stayed at our home with our 20 months old lab who has a lot of energy and is not used to being away from us. Rio walked her twice a day, took her to get a lot of exercise at the dog park, and treated her like a princess! We got several videos and pictures of our happy dog while we were away for 5 days. We came home to a tidy house and a very happy dog! I highly recommend Rio as a pet and house sitter and I will definitely use her again!

Rio is great with our senior disabled pug that can be anxious and challenging. Our dog has a lot of special needs and requires several medications through out the day. Rio was up for the large task and excelled! She is very attentive of our dogs needs. Communication was great while we were away and we received many updates and photos. Reliable and trustworthy!
Rio provided us with so much peace of mind while we were away. We received multiple pictures from each visit and it looked like our cats were happy to see Rio each day.

Schedule
I’m self-employed and working part-time, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. Plenty of time to hang out with a pup or cat!
