Availability
I am a full-time university student studying Animal Care and Zoo Management in Surrey, attending campus two days a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and volunteering at a zoo on Saturdays. Despite this, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to fit pet care comfortably around my studies and commitments. My university is very understanding if I ever need to rearrange a lesson, as I can easily catch up through online materials, and my volunteering is not compulsory every Saturday. This flexibility means I can adapt to your pet’s needs and provide reliable, attentive care. Please don’t hesitate to book any service—I’d love to help look after your pet!

So before I take your dog out, I would like to exchange a meeting with you to know what the dog is like when walking with them (e.g., their temperament or activity levels). Also, if there is any toys that your dog loves to have with them, I can take them with me so your dog can be enriched!

If there is any toys that your dog likes to have, I can take for the walk too! Other additional information to know is an allergies that your dog has, what certain types of people they don't get along with or if they are good off the lead. I would also need to know about their dog's temperament and what they are like to get a good understanding of them.
A typical day
I will walk your dogs in the any parks where you live in or where you and your dog to go like to go. And if your dog is good off the lead, they can happily roam around the park!

Pet care experience
I studied at Capel Manor College for four years, completing several courses, including the prestigious BTEC Animal Management Level 3 Extended Certificate and Diploma. These programs allowed me to explore fascinating modules such as Animal Behaviour and Animal Welfare. During my time at Capel Manor, I gained hands-on experience in the animal industry through work placements at farms and zoos. I graduated with distinction, earning a D*D grade. Currently, I’m pursuing a degree in Zoo Management at a university in Surrey, primarily in Guildford. This means I can now provide exceptional care for your dogs across both London and Surrey! While at college, I developed practical animal training skills, working with my lecturer’s dog and two of my friends’ dogs—a Cocker Spaniel and a Schnoodle. Additionally, I currently walk a variety of dog breeds, including Whippets and mixed breeds such as Golden Retriever-Labrador crosses. I engaged in activities such as 30-minute to 1-hour walks and taught them fun tricks like giving a "paw" or rolling over for treats. I pride myself on my patience, determination, and deep passion for animals. From a young age, I’ve aspired to work as a zookeeper, combining my love for animals with educating others about them. This passion drives me to provide the best possible care for every pet I meet. I excel in time management, allowing me to accommodate last-minute bookings from pet owners when needed. My deep passion for animals ensures that your dog’s welfare is always my top priority, providing attentive and compassionate care every step of the way.
Reviews

Rio did a fantastic job looking after Roxie. He was also incredibly helpful as he was able to accommodate our slightly odd scenario - I was already on leave, so my ex husband was dropping her off to him whilst my best friend picked her up. But it all went very smoothly, and Roxie appears to have had a wonderful time with Rio and his family!

Rio was extremely communicative and made us feel confident that Caju was in great hands throughout. We really appreciated the regular updates, photos and videos. He clearly has a genuine passion for animals, which came through in the care and attention he gave.

Rio was lovely and took great care of Hector, and he kept me updated well. Thanks so much! We will definitely book again!

I would like to thank Rio for having Blue for me Blue can be a little frisky at times but Rio managed him well I would definitely use Rio again
