Hey there! Thank you for checking out my profile. My name is Riley. I am happy to have the opportunity to take care of your pets. Growing up, there has always been at least one cat and dog in my home. And over the course of my life, I have owned seven dogs and six cats. I take personal pride in developing strong bonds with animals quickly. Making new friendships with animals and being able to support my community in meeting their animal care needs is something I love to be able to do. I started taking care of pets when I was around five years old. My responsibilities were feeding and watering, brushing, pottying, and playing. Since then, I've developed a passion for taking care of animals, and I hope to one day become a vet tech. She was great with my dog.
Riley is great with our dog, a Shiba Inu. Our dog, who can be very temperamental, immediately loved her and jumped into her arms for loving when he first met her. He rarely does that! Riley is very responsible, conscientious, and friendly. We will definitely hire her again when we need our dog cared for.
Riley was super friendly and communicative. Our pup Roo seemed content when we got home. The house was nice and clean upon our arrival home. We will definitely reach out to Riley again!
Riley has been so great taking care of our dog. She goes above and beyond what our requests are and we love the daily updates she sends via pictures, and genuinely loves animals. Would definitely recommend her, and have her back in the future!
Riley has been consistent and great in the care of my older dogs. They adore her and she is proactive about finding solutions to issues.
Riley cared for my mature herding dogs over 4 days and nights. I got very frequent communication about status and good questions about their care. She obviously is a concerned and thoughtful sitter. I am already planning on rebooking her for another stay a couple months out. Highly recommended!

Schedule
As of Fall 2025, I am on a hiatus from school and have very few hours at my part-time job. My schedule is flexible and very open. I do make time for things like self-care, errands, creative hobbies, or short personal outings, but when I am with your pets, they are my top priority. When I am sitting, I structure my days around the specific needs, personalities, and schedules of the pets I am taking care of. Whether days come with walks, playtime, snuggles, or simply just peaceful companionship, every sit is specifically tailored to you and your pets needs.

When I am with animals, I love incorporating brushing, exercise and playtime, and enrichment into our routine. Snuggles are always a welcome bonus if your pet enjoys them! I provide regular potty breaks every few hours (or sooner if needed), always ensure water dishes are full, and stick closely to your pet's usual schedule and routines. I follow all care instructions carefully, whether it's feeding times, medication needs, specific walking routes, or household rules. It's really important for pets to feel safe and secure, especially when their people are away, so I am very attentive with pets' body language and behavior in order to identify their needs and wants, and to help them be more comfortable when I can. Because pets can feel vulnerable when their people are away, I pay close attention to body language and behavior so I can better understand their needs and help them feel safe and secure. I’m more than happy to accommodate special care requirements. Let me know your pet’s needs when you reach out, and I’ll confirm whether I can meet them. My goal is to make the experience as smooth and positive as possible—for both your pets and for you. Please don’t hesitate to message me with any questions or concerns! Overnight stays: For comfort, safety, and because my husband and I are partners in everything, I kindly request that he be able to stay with me during house-sitting requests that include overnight stays.
