Riley was amazing with my dog, Samantha! What started as just a couple of overnights turned into a full week of care, and she handled it with so much flexibility and kindness. She kept me updated with plenty of photos, asked thoughtful questions to make sure Sam’s needs were met, and made sure she got lots of walks and attention. When she had to cancel one of the overnights, Riley even went the extra mile to drop Sam off at another Rover sitter’s house so I didn’t have to leave the conference I was attending — that level of care and consideration was a huge relief. I could tell Sam was happy and comfortable the whole time. I would absolutely recommend Riley to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter.

We had a very poor experience with Riley. Communication was inconsistent, and she often didn’t respond to messages in a timely manner. On the first day, she only stopped by briefly, with the longest visit being about an hour. On the second day, we asked her to spend more time at our house. She took our dog to an outdoor concert to take some pictures for her job, which we said we were fine with if it wasn’t too loud, but she stayed there until late and sent pictures of our dog at someone else’s house, not returning home until 12:30am. Around midnight we had to message her to bring our dog back; she eventually responded saying she was almost home, but didn’t arrive until 30 minutes later. Her boyfriend also stayed overnight at the house each night which was not communicated beforehand. By the last day, we had family pick up our dog because we longer wanted to have to worry about our dog while we were on vacation. We would not recommend booking with Riley.

Our dogs love Riley!! She is the first person we go to when we need someone to care for our dogs! She has watched them numerous times while we are away, and has always been super responsible and reliable with our fur babies. Riley has such a big heart and love for animals. The dogs get excited to see her, and we always feel comfortable travelling and knowing they are in the best of care when they are with her.
