Availability
Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I work during the day, but I am home every night, which makes me a great fit for house sitting and evening care needs. For house sitting, your pet will have consistent overnight companionship and a stable nighttime routine. During the day, I can provide morning care before work and afternoon/evening walks, playtime, and feeding once I return. For dog walking and drop-in visits, I’m typically available: • Early mornings • Late afternoons • Evenings I keep my calendar updated and communicate clearly about availability so there are no surprises.

Safety, trust & environment
All of my services are provided in your home, where your pet is most comfortable and secure. When caring for pets in a client’s home, safety and consistency are my top priorities. I follow all care instructions carefully — including feeding schedules, medication directions, leash protocols, and home routines. I take detailed notes during meet & greets to ensure nothing is overlooked. For house sitting, I: • Keep doors and gates secured at all times • Double-check leash and harness fit before walks • Follow any alarm or security instructions exactly • Maintain a clean, respectful environment For dog walks and drop-ins, I: • Use secure leash handling at all times • Avoid high-risk environments (dog parks unless requested) • Monitor weather conditions, especially in Anchorage winters • Ensure water bowls are refreshed and pets are safely settled before leaving I treat every home with professionalism and respect. You can expect regular updates, photos, and clear communication throughout the service. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine come first.

Information riley u. would like to know about your pet
Before any service, I like to learn as much as possible about your pet so I can provide safe, consistent care. Please let me know: • Feeding schedule and portion sizes • Any allergies or dietary restrictions • Medications (with clear instructions) • Behavioral quirks or triggers • Energy level and exercise needs • Leash behavior (pulling, reactivity, etc.) • House rules (crate use, furniture rules, etc.) • Emergency vet information It’s also helpful to know how your pet handles: • Being left alone • Thunder, snow removal equipment, or loud noises • Other dogs on walks • Visitors or maintenance entering the home The more I know ahead of time, the smoother and more comfortable the experience will be for your pet. I always recommend a meet & greet before house sitting so we can go over routines and make sure everyone feels confident.
A typical day
A typical day is centered around keeping your pet’s routine consistent while adding enrichment and attention throughout the day. For house sitting, mornings usually start with a potty break, fresh water, breakfast (if scheduled), and some light playtime or affection before I head to work. Once I’m back in the afternoon, we’ll do a longer walk, exercise session, or backyard play depending on your dog’s energy level. Evenings are for winding down — dinner, another potty break, cuddles, and relaxing time together. I aim to keep things calm and predictable so your pet feels secure while you’re away. For dog walks, I tailor the walk to your dog’s needs — whether that’s a brisk energy-burning walk or a slower, sniff-focused stroll. Mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise, so I allow time for sniffing and engagement. For drop-in visits, I make sure your pet gets: • Potty break • Fresh food and water • Playtime or enrichment • Affection and attention • A quick safety check of the home If your dog enjoys structured play, I’m happy to incorporate basic training reinforcement, fetch, or simple puzzle activities. My goal is always the same: keep your pet active, comfortable, and stress-free while maintaining their normal routine.

Reviews

Always easy to leave my dog here. She seems so happy.

Riley took great care of my pup Lu. She seemed calm when I picked her up and even turned toward the gate to go back in after I picked her up.

Riley and Kevin were great! Smokey really enjoyed his time with them and we received regular updates and communication on how Smokey was doing. I recommend!

Riley was amazing, I’d definitely recommend!!
