I currently have a part-time job working at Rumford Pet Express as a supervisor, but I am free before 1pm most days. I like to spend my days off hanging out with my cats and going on hikes with my dog.

The care I give really depends on the pet and their routine; I always prefer to follow exactly what the pet already knows to avoid any stress for all parties involved. I always treat each pet as if they were my own and I consider myself very attentive, especially when it comes to any behavior changes!

If your pet has any dietary restrictions/health issues, and anything you want me to know about your pets personality, such as favorite toys, activities, treats, places, any ‘quirks’, etc. I will also want to know about any potential medical issues so I know exactly what to keep an eye out for. I am very comfortable caring for animals with medical issues, so this would not be something that would deter me from accepting a request!
A typical day
I will always start off by spending some time making sure your pet is familiar and comfortable with me! After that, depending on their typical schedule, we’ll go for walks, play in the yard, or just spend some time hanging out! I do also offer hikes for an additional charge. I consider myself a very active person and love going on adventures with my own dog!

Pet care experience
I’ve been pet sitting for 5 years now and I was previously employed at a doggy daycare where I spent my days taking care of the dogs. I am insured through PCI, Pet CPR and First Aid certified, and have also been assisting a dog trainer with classes. I am also a pet portrait artist! I do B&W graphite portraits, and my commissions are typically open! Feel free to reach out for more details!

Riley was AMAZING, and I hope they'll come back if we ever go on vacation again. Riley sent us photos of the cats each day and left a heartfelt surprise for us that we discovered when we got home. One of our cats passed away while we were gone, and Riley's handling of the situation was incredible. I highly recommend Riley!
