I've had an animal in my house since I was born. Dogs have always been my favorite, while we did also have cats, I always leaned towards our pups. We fostered gray hounds for several years after joining rescued racers to help save them. I've trained puppies, our own and some neighbors. I have experience with dogs with special needs. I had a German Shephard who was deaf, I trained her with sign language, and when we were inside, thumps on the ground. My husband and I currently have a Corgi who is definitely the baby of the family. I am a stay-at-home mom of 4 young kids. I am always here to take care of our animals and any more who come to visit. The only time I am not home is for doctors visits or little outings to see family, but we are never gone for more than 3-4 hours. We have a fenced in yard, it is sectioned off, part of the area is for the animals, part of it is for the kids. We make sure both areas are cleaned and taken care of. We typically let the dogs sleep wherever they want but there is also plenty of room for crates if your pup is crate trained. I do have 4 younger kids, they're usually up by 6:30am and I bed by 7pm, so we ask that drop-off and pick-ups are in that time frame. If that isn't possible I know we can still work it out! We live on a little land that we've filled with animals of all sorts, we have: 18 Chickens, 2 roosters, 3 goats, 2 ducks, 2 turkeys, a cat, and 2 pups. We love animals and have so much fun with them. Our kids have grown up surrounded by them, so theyre all very comfortable with boundaries and understanding when pups need their space. We hope to hear from you!
