I am currently working towards a bachelor's in Animal Behavior and Welfare, as interacting with animals and learning about them is a passion of mine. I greatly enjoy learning to care for them and then doing so. The degree im working towards is focused on the care of animals while educating the public about them. I grew up with a dog and have had many small animals as pets throughout my life, rodents, fish, insects, arachnids, frogs, etc. Currently I have 3 reptiles and two cats. Willow-Wisp, and Boiled-Egg are my cats. My corn snake is Copper, Blue Tongued Skink is Little-Dude, and Tripod is my leopard gecko. Both Boiled-Egg and Tripod have medical conditions that require at home management and care which has given me some skills in caring for animals with disabilities. They are not the only animal I have history caring for with medical issues either. Many of my experience with pets has been rescue pets, and I have had plenty practice and patience regarding them and behaviors post trauma. I am more than willing to learn about your pets needs and help medical or otherwise.

Riley takes amazing care of our Josie. We had her stay overnight with our girl and I felt so much better going out of town knowing she was in safe and capable hands. Riley kept us posted with Josie’s activities and sent pictures and Josie just adores her. We definitely recommend Riley if you’re wanting peace of mind when leaving your fur-baby!
Riley was so good with our dog who has separation anxiety. She helped us out on short notice and was very friendly and took great care of our Josie girl. You can tell Riley cares deeply for animals, and that’s my kind of human! 10/10 would recommend!

Schedule
I am currently focusing on college and have plenty of time to help care for your animals. The only day I will be unavailable is Sunday.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard and half the house closes off by doors so the cats will not interact with your animals unless you are comfortable with it. Depending on your animals preferance I can ensure that I spend time with them or give them the space to feel comfortable and settle in. Any and all expectations set regarding their care and what food, toys, or treats they are allowed will of course be followed. I may have treats of my own I could offer them but will only do so with your approval and in amounts you allow. I do haveextra food and water bowels if you would prefer to use those rather than bringing your own. In the case something awful were to happen I have experience bringing animals to emergency.
Pets
A typical day
Ill likely spend the day working on school assignments while making sure to stay in the same room as your beloved pet. Thst way they cam alert me of they need to go out or wish to play or cuddle. If they are more reserved I will be there simply as a calm presence. I can walk them as needed for their regular schedule while they are under my care. If they have and games or toys they love id be happy to play with them. I have freeze dried raw treats for any allowed to have them.

- If your dog has any special needs, diet, or care requirements just let me know and I will adapt to them for their comfort and safety. I have experience with lots of different animals and many rescues with varying disorders or personalities. I would be happy to help, and I am confident in hekping with medications.
