Hi, my name is Riley and I am a dog dad to a 6 year old Yorkie and a 3 year old Morkie. Milo and Marcel are friendly and love meeting new friends that they can run around and play with! I work from home full time and am able to give your pup the attention they require. I will also only take in one pet at a time unless they’re from the same household to ensure proper care and attention. Good or bad weather, we love walking around the neighbourhood on a good sniffari! We do a minimum of two walks a day but usually 3-4 if the weather is good. I’m located in the beautiful west side neighbourhood of Secord which offers many kilometres of beautiful walking trails. Milo has been put through 3 sets of training classes and our household is a positive reinforcement environment. (That means lots and lots of treats & toys!) Let me if you have any special expectations for your pet and I will ensure those are maintained with positive reinforcement. I know how nerve wrecking it is to leave your baby with anyone, let alone a stranger, so I like to do a little meet and greet before confirming a booking to make sure everyone is comfortable and a good fit. I pride myself on making sure my guests are as comfortable as possible with lots of play time, treats, and walks. I also send very frequent updates (pictures, videos, and text) so you can rest assured your pet is having a great time! Thanks for reading! I hope to meet your pup(s). I live almost 30 min away, but after doing some research discovered Riley and decided to drive out and see if my jittery/nervous/ anxiety dog would take to him. My little guy, Lolo, a morkie who generally does not take well to men had no problems with Riley. And so we visited Riley another 2 times, and each time my dog was calm and there had been no drama with the daycare. Riley’s incredible sense of calm had such a positive influence on Lolo, it’s been worth the drive. Next on the agenda? Boarding for 2 nights!
I’d prefer to keep Riley a secret as he’s one of the best humans I know and is absolutely the best fur baby sitter on the planet. I am incredibly grateful as always to be able to travel with piece of mind knowing my Gnocchi is being cared for with such love and compassion. Simply the best. ♥️
Riley was great! Sent many updates/photos frequently and took Gordon on many walks. Will use him again!
Riley is an amazing host. I booked for a pet sitter and Hazel left with a portfolio of a model. Hazel had so much fun strutting her stuff. I received the most unbelievable professional doggie portraits. Thank you Riley and your lovely wife. 🙂

Schedule
I work from home so I can accommodate most care requirements. Typically walks are early morning, during lunch, and late afternoon/evening. Please let me know if your pet requires special arrangements with respect to schedule.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced yard without gaps to ensure escape artists aren’t given any opportunities! I am able to kennel within the home if requested but typically I let our guest roam where I can visibility of them.
Pets
A typical day
Minimum two walks per day for all boarding and daycare clients. However generally 3-4 is much more common when the weather is good. I have a fully fenced yard for any additional trips outside.
