We have been animal/house sitting for 6 years as All the animals we have cared for are all truly unique, giving us a variety of experience! We have been responsible for dogs with high energy that need long walks and exercise. Additionally, we have experience with both senior dogs and cats, as well as puppies and kittens! We are very understanding that they may need extra help or training, and are very willing to take on any challenges! We have also been responsible for caring after a diabetic cat (which required insulin injections daily), a dog with arthritis, and countless other animals that needed daily specialty medications. Not only that, one of the French Bulldogs we cared for, Nelly, had hip issues. This required a lot of hands on care to respect the limitations she had. Within our time travelling in Australia, we had the opportunity to care for a variety of farm animals. On multiple occasions, we had the privilege to deal with chickens. During these sits, we dealt with the feeding/drinking, cooping at night, and collecting of the eggs. More recently, we spent time caring for cows and horses, where we had to get in close contact with them in order to deal with their feeding. Other farm animals we’ve cared for include goats and sheep. They required a morning feeding once they were corralled to their pen, and nightly feeding after we put them back in the barn for the night. The relationships we have made with not only the animals, but their owners are truly what makes this so enjoyable! We are a very communicative couple, who are willing to answer any questions you may have, or send you as many pictures of your beloved animals while we care for your home, furry friends, and any gardening needs!
