I am a veterinary student at UW Madison's School of Veterinary Medicine. Classes and labs take up a good chunk of my work week, both involving long periods of sitting. Much like your dogs and cats, I will be sure to enjoy getting the wiggles out and stretching my legs.

Animal behavior and body language are concepts I know extensively. I always approach animals according to their level of comfort with the situation at hand; if something necessary needs to be done that an animal may not be comfortable with (i.e. getting into a carrier, taking a medication) I am sure to use positive reinforcement and handling techniques for the safety of myself and the pet.

A typical day
Enrichment and mental stimulation are critical concepts throughout a day in my house. I do a lot of "sniffy walks", I use puzzle toys and feeders, and games that require animals to think as they act. My home and lifestyle are tailored to the well-being of my pets and the animals around us.

Hello! I am a veterinary student at UW Madison with over a decade of animal care experience ranging from dog training to emergency veterinary medicine. I am comfortable with all temperaments and needs that your furry friends may have. I am both Fear Free and canine/feline CPR certified as well as comfortable with prescription medication administration.
