Hi! My name is Riley and I have been a pet owner and foster parent for a local shelter for several years. I have been pet-sitting as my full time job for the last 5 years, and I have at least 15 years of experience with many types of animals from owning pets and fostering cats and dogs. Housesitting is my most popular service, so I have plenty of experience staying in and taking care of clients’ homes while they’re away. Pet care is the priority but the home is part of the deal! I’m something of a neat freak and try to leave everything better than I found it. I am happy to care for senior and special needs animals- I have experience administering both oral and injectable medications to dogs and cats. I am comfortable around any/all breeds and sizes of dog 🐶 I definitely understand that every pet is different and always aim to understand and meet their needs however possible. I can't wait to meet your pet! *Please note that I have amended my house sitting policy: If your pet cannot be left alone for more than 4 hours during the day time, there is an additional $50 fee per day. This is considered my "constant care" rate for pets that may need some extra attention. Thank you for your understanding!

Your pets are always safe with me and their health and well-being comes first. Please make sure you leave me with your emergency vet info or someone I can contact in the event of an emergency. While rare, I will always keep you in the loop about any issues that may arise while caring for your pet.

Riley did a fantastic job watching my dog over 4th of July weekend. My dog is older and a picky eater, and Riley was so accommodating and tried different things when needed to make sure she was eating. My dog is usually a little nervous around new people, but immediately seemed so comfortable with Riley. She took excellent care of my house, and my dog was very relaxed when I got home - which tells me she had a great time and wasn't anxious over the weekend. Riley also did a great job communicating with me. Will definitely book with her again in the future!
Riley and Will took care of our two dogs, of which one is geriatric and requires special care. She is a lot. They both took great care of them and communicated with us frequently to keep us up to date or gather more information on how to make them more comfortable. Riley purchased some supplies to experiment with solutions and sent great pictures. I felt very comfortable having both of my pups with them! Thank you both! House was in top condition and clean.
Riley took great care of Bear and my home while I was away. Bear was happy and relaxed when I got back, and everything was left very clean and in great shape. I also appreciated her help with daycare drop-off. I’d definitely book with Riley again.
Riley was simply fantastic. She took a rather shy 3 year old German Shepherd and made her fall in love with Riley. I was comforted that my beloved companion was well cared for in the comfort of her home by daily updates and pics. I could not have asked for more,
Riley is always such a good care-taker of our 11 year old dog, Teddy, and our home. She is always so considerate of Teddy’s needs and schedule and she takes such good care of him and our home. Cannot say enough good things about Riley.
Riley is AMAZING! She’s watched our 3 pets before (2 dogs/1 cat) and each time we are worry free. Our pups have gotten comfortable with Riley & she does a fantastic job caring for them. One of our dogs is very shy while the other is just coming out of puppy-hood and is quite the opposite. Riley does so great catering to each of their needs and I can tell our girls are happy and well taken care of while we are away.

Schedule
My schedule varies week to week, so drop ins for dogs with consistent potty times are not the best fit for me! I appreciate any flexibility that is available. Otherwise, I can be pretty accommodating!
