I’ve been around animals my whole life and currently have four cats, a dog, and a puppy of my own, so caring for animals is a big part of my everyday life. I also grew up caring for and training farm animals, which taught me a lot about patience, consistency, reading animal behavior, and working with animals with very different personalities. I’m comfortable with pets of different ages, sizes, temperaments, and energy levels, from energetic puppies who need lots of attention to cats who prefer affection on their own terms. I have experience with feeding, walks, playtime, basic training and puppy care, cleaning up after pets, and keeping up with their normal routines. What sets me apart is that I genuinely have a lot of hands-on experience with animals and understand that every pet is different. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable around animals, and I’ll always treat your pets with the same care and attention I give my own.

I always try to keep pets as comfortable and close to their normal routine as possible. I follow each owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, medications, playtime, and any other specific needs their pet may have. I make sure they get plenty of attention and affection while also respecting their space and personality. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m also very respectful of their space and make sure everything is kept clean and secure. I pay close attention to pets while they’re in my care and am happy to send pictures and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is happy and being well cared for while you’re away.

Schedule
Pet care is already a natural part of my everyday routine since I have several pets of my own. I’m used to planning my day around feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and making sure everyone gets plenty of attention. My schedule is flexible, so I’m able to make time for walks, drop-in visits, and longer stays throughout the day. I’m also happy to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable while you’re away.

- Before caring for your pet, I’d love to know about their normal routine, personality, energy level, feeding schedule, and any medications or special needs. It’s also helpful to know how they behave around other animals and people, any fears or triggers they may have, and any behaviors I should be aware of. I’d also love to hear about their favorite toys, treats, activities, and anything else that will help me make them feel as comfortable and happy as possible while you’re away!
