Pet care is at the center of my daily life! Rover is my near full-time job, which allows me to dedicate my full attention to the pets I care for. I am currently a nursing student in my second semester, but I have a flexible schedule with plenty of time to focus completely on your pet’s needs. My schedule currently consists of 2 classes on Tuesdays from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, and two separate clinicals every Wednesday at 6:30 am until 3:00 pm (from January 28th until April 1st), and every Monday (from February 2nd until March 2nd) at 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. I live near the college campus, surrounded by hiking trails and parks which is perfect for daily walks, outdoor adventures, and plenty of playtime. Making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and cared for is always my #1 priority.

Safety, trust & environment
Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and loving environment. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including their feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions you provide. I make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise, whether it’s relaxing at home, going for walks, playing in the dog park, or exploring nearby trails. In my home, your pet will also have the opportunity to socialize with my own friendly dog, who loves making new pup friends. I always keep a close eye on behavior and health to make sure they are happy and stress-free. Communication is important to me, so I provide regular updates and photos, so you can feel confident your pet is well cared for while you’re away.

Information Riley E. would like to know about your pet
It’s really important for me to know if your dog is friendly with other dogs, since I have a pup of my own at home. I can only host dogs that are social and comfortable being around other dogs. This helps make sure everyone stays safe, happy, and relaxed during their stay. It also helps to know ahead of time if your dog is potty trained, has any quirks or special needs, or anything else that would help me take the best care of them. The more I know, the better I can make their stay feel like home!
A typical day
A typical day with me usually starts with a long walk around the complex. I love getting outside with my own pup, and most other dogs do too. I live right next to some great hiking trails, so if your dog enjoys being out in nature, we’ll definitely take advantage of that. I also have a dog park right inside my apartment complex, which makes it easy for quick play breaks or some off-leash time if your dog is comfortable with that (I do not enter the dog park if there are other dogs inside — dog park policy is one owner/pet inside at a time). Throughout the day, we’ll go on a few walks, hang out around the house, of course have play time with my pups' endless amount of toys, and just enjoy each other's company. Whether your dog is active or more laid back, I’m happy to match their energy and make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for.

Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Riley and I'm a 21-year-old nursing student originally from South Carolina. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up on a farm raising and caring for different animals, so caretaking has always come naturally to me. As of now, I have 4 dogs back at home and 1 dog currently residing with me. What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with all types of animals, my reliability, and how much I truly love caring for them. I understand how important it is to find someone to trust with your pets. I'm very communicative, respectful of each pet's/owner's unique needs, and can confidently handle anything from a laid-back walk to giving medications or handling multiple pets simultaneously. Whether it's daily walks, playtime, or overnight stays, I'll treat your pup(s) like family!
