Cat lover and whisperer!
I’ve had cats since I was a kid and always loved them! When I moved into my first apartment in 2017, I adopted my own cat Spooky. I have experienced many different kitty personalities from my own life and from volunteering with PAWS in Chicago. I have a soft spot for seniors as Spooky is an older gal with arthritis these days. While at PAWS, I underwent training for L2 cats, meaning I understand things like cat body language, clicker training, high energy cats, cats that struggle with overstimulation or conflicted feelings towards people/animals, and when to engage or give your kitty space (re: I am qualified for spicy kitties). I also have experience with giving cats medications (pills and subdermal injections). I understand what to watch for in cats health-wise and will always keep you updated! But most importantly I love to meet and hang out with new cats. I haven’t been able to connect with any shelters in SF, so I am starting on rover to try and reach my cat quota. I work from home and am doing rover for fun, so I have a flexible schedule and am happy to do whatever your kitty might need!

I always let a pet guide me in their space. I’m a clean and tidy person, so I always leave a space as I found it, if not cleaner!

Riley was great! She was super helpful even when I had no phone service to respond to her questions. She also took the BEST pictures of my babies and helped when the automatic litter box malfunctioned. I would definitely book her again
Riley is a SUPER amazing kitty sitter. From the moment I met her during our meet & greet, I knew I could trust her with my fur babies. I was away taking care of my father & I didn't stress out once while I was gone because she kept me informed on Luna & Teelu and sent me the cutest pics of them. Thank you Riley!
Riley is a kind, attentive, and responsible pet sitter. I’ve known her for seven years and have seen her consistently provide excellent care for her own cat and for shelter cats and kittens. She reads feline body language well, has completed multiple trainings to volunteer with shelter cats in Chicago, and uses a calm, open demeanor that helps especially skittish cats feel safe and relaxed.
Riley is the kind of person who will stop mid-run to call an animal rescue hotline for an injured bird on the sidewalk or follow a stray cat home to make sure it has food and shelter. She has loved animals since the day I met her and far before that! She volunteers at the local animal shelter when she can and completely spoils her own cat, Spooky. I trust her with animals more than almost anyone I know, I can't recommend her enough :)
Riley has watched my cat multiple over the years. My cat is quite difficult to watch (needs shots administered and constant attention), but she had no problems with any of it. I love that she sent me a photo of my cat every day and communicated clearly.
Riley has taken splendid care of feline creature since a young age. I can attest to this as her brother. I have seen her treat cats with more love and respect than almost any other owner, without being overbearing or annoying towards the animal, time and again

Schedule
I work from home from 7am-3pm and can take breaks when needed (or work from your place)! Before work is not an option, but after 3pm is always open.
