Loving pet sitter ... mad about dogs
I have had my own dogs for many years.in the last 10 years I have been looking after my family members dogs as well as friends and friends of friends and l now work from home just a couple of hours a day leaving me lots of time to do what I love which is caring for dogs. I used to be a vetinary nurse many years ago before starting a family and I understand that some dogs require special care... especially older dogs. In my home the dogs are treated as a member of the family with lots of playtime and cuddles and most have 2 walks a day.all my pooches are happy to stay here and when they return they really get quite excited about it as I really do spoil them

I have a very nervous dog, but she loved her stay so much she didn't want to come home. I would recommend Rika to anyone and will be leaving my Dollie with her again. Xx

Rika is an amazing Dog sitter!! I was looking for someone to look after my 13 year old rescue Pomeranium /Chihuahua she is only 2kg looks so sweet, but due to her start in life where she was ill treated , she is very unsure of people. Won’t let anyone strange stroke her let alone pick her up. We have only been able to go away in the UK where we could take her with us. We desperately wanted to go abroad, so decided to try and find someone who would be able to manage Dolly. From the moment we met, it was clear that Rika and her Husband genuinely loved and understood dogs. Dolly took to them instantly, she was relaxed and they have a lovely homely environment and a safe and secure garden. This gave us such peace of mind knowing Dolly was in capable caring hands. Trust me she is our baby. We got regular updates and pictures. Which made us feel totally reassured while we were away. We had to ask for an extra day after flight delays , Rika was very accommodating. When we arrived home Rika had Dolly on her lap grooming her, I could not believe this, she is very snappy and difficult to groom. Her eating is very hit and miss as well, which Rika also dealt with, when she wouldn’t eat the food we had left for her. Nothing was a problem. Rika and her Husband do not leave the Dogs at home alone for hours, there is always one of them at home with them, this was a massive plus for us. We couldn’t ask for more. If anyone wants to contact me , I would be more than happy.

I work from home a couple of hours a day Monday to Thursday so I have lots of spare time for cuddles playtime and walks.

My garden is completely fenced off and secure and quite a distance from the road which my visitors have access to all the time. It is also quite big so there is plenty of playtime area. There is also a good choice of parks and wooded areas very close to where I live
A typical day
I always walk my dogs each day with most having two walks a day. I provide lots of playtime and I encourage owners to bring there favourite toys with them. I also have a collection of balls for the garden
