I currently work part-time and volunteer at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital on Friday/Saturdays until 5pm. However this still allows me lots of free time to direct towards pet sitting and with communication I am very open to discussing scheduling.

Whenever I pet/house sit at a clients home, I maintain and clean and organized environment. I prioritize cleaning up after not just the pets but myself included. I always follow rules and instructions for certain things as well in order to maintain a safe environment for everyone.
Information Rihanna W. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for your pet I would love to be aware of any allergies, or medical issues they may have and how to take precautions around those while looking after them. I would also like to know if any medical treatments are to be administered as well as how. I have experience with oral medications, subcutaneous and intermuscular injections, as well as ointments. Lastly, it is always good to know their diet, feeding schedule, and which treats they are allowed to have.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on long walks, especially with light jogging here and there as I enjoy running. I also appreciate a nice back yard to play fetch or utilize other toys for stimulation. Treats and tricks are also a favourite for me for mental stimulation.

Pet care experience
I grew up on an acreage and have cared for animals my entire life. I began pet sitting for others early on, including for a veterinarian family, caring for dogs, cats, horses, fish, and a variety of other animals. I am currently a student at the U of A where I am studying Animal Health with the goal of becoming a veterinarian. I offer pet sitting, dog-walking, feeding/watering, exercise and daily care tailored to each animal's individual needs.
