When I care for pets, I make sure they have plenty of fun and stimulating activities to keep them happy and healthy. For dogs, I enjoy taking them on walks, playing fetch, and engaging in interactive games like tug-of-war. I also love teaching basic commands and tricks to keep their minds sharp. For cats, I provide plenty of playtime with toys like feather wands, laser pointers, and puzzle feeders to encourage their natural hunting instincts. I'm always attentive to each pet's energy level and preferences, making sure they get the right balance of exercise, mental stimulation, and relaxation during their time with me.

I make sure to learn about their personality and behavior, including how they interact with people and other animals, and if they have any anxieties or triggers, such as a fear of loud noises. Knowing their health history, such as allergies and medical conditions, contact information for their vet, and who I should contact if I cannot reach the owner. I like to know household rules, such as whether the pets are allowed on the furniture, their preferred resting spots, and any special care instructions.
