I have always had dogs. From living on the acreage, to living in towns and cities. Understanding the different needs your dog requires is my niche. Walking, enrichment, play, exploring or a very lavish head scritch (I am a Albertan trained RMT), your pups will love my head and neck massage, trust me! Connecting with animals is such a privilege I cant wait for the opportunity to connect with yours.

Rigel took such good care of our girls, even when one was feeling under the weather! She sent photos, videos, and detailed updates. I felt very comfortable with her coming to my house to take the dogs for walks or for drop in visits. She was very professional and very good with dogs. We will defiantly book again!
She’s the best. So accommodating and goes out of her way. There was no parking spots at my building when she came to walk my dog so she parked her car elsewhere and literally walked back here. Very committed :)

Rigel is a warm and bright spirit who clearly really likes animals. She took amazing care of my two kitties with daily drop-ins while I was away at a conference, and I couldn't be happier with the care she provided. Thank you, Rigel, for feeding, cuddling, and playing with Thomas and Dilly while I was gone--I came home to two very happy cats!

Schedule
Currently a student at the local college my days are super flexible. Pet care fits into my life easily because of how open my days are. As someone whose partner is in the military, this job also lets me stay busy even when they are overseas.

Safety, trust & environment
I always ask for the ground rules for your fur babies. Keeping consistency is important even while you are away. Going out on a leash or harness is always a must. Crate training is a tool and must always be respected. In the event your cat sleeps over, we have a friendly feline whose best friend has been other felines and a previous beagle. We never let the cats outside unless on harness and if they are used to it. We do have a cat tree and window perch and all my house plants live behind a door that is always closed 100% of the time. Very demure, very safe.
Pets
A typical day
A walk is usually the best way to get to know one another. From a walk then we can play some of their favorites, fetch, dog park, small run, playing with their favorite toys etc. If their diet allows maybe a pup-a-chino and back to the crib. Were massage and belly rubs will finish the day. Cats will always get head scritches and a nightly treat of pate. They will enjoy the comforts of their cat tree hammock and maybe a fuzzy blanket on the couch if they choose to join us for a movie night.
