A typical day
I base the day on the animal. It may be dog walks twice a day, morning and evening, stopping for smells, some fetch etc. with play and affection in-between. Or cat play, as they want. I find cats dictate what they want, and will let you know when want some affection or a play.

I have been using a different site for the last six months and over that time I have had all 5 star reviews. I have looked after 8 dogs from tiny (miniature poodle) to large (Swiss Shepard) as well as 5 cats. 10 weeks of pet care and over 90 walks. I grew up in the countryside and I am comfortable with animals. Had dogs, a cat, gerbil, horse (for a short time), helped raising lambs one year … I am also 6’5” so I can handle larger dogs, I have a calm demeanor which helps animals settle with me and I have had no issues even with nervous dogs. I am a business owner on a break from work for health reasons. So I have plenty of time to give your pets all the affection they deserve.

Ricky looked after our five-year-old Labrador Maddy (and our home) for two weeks. He was a perfect pet sitter and we would definitely welcome him back - as would Maddy, who clearly loves him! She was recovering from a stomach upset and we were really worried about leaving her, but he was so caring and capable that we were able to set off on holiday feeling confident that she'd be very well looked after. We came back to a happy dog, completely back to her normal self. Ricky is very thoughtful and conscientious, checking information carefully and making sure that he asked any questions he needed to. He quickly formed a bond with Maddy, gave her lots of attention and managed her really well inside our home and on outings. Communication was excellent throughout and we had reassuring daily updates that enabled us to thoroughly enjoy our trip. He is also a lovely person, completely trustworthy and very easy to get on with. We thoroughly recommend him.
Ricky has looked after my two dogs multiple times and for longer periods two weeks or more, He has stayed overnight for these occasions( my house was also well taken care of ) my pets were well taken care of and I would have him take care of any pets again .
