What a great service, Ricky was a pleasure to have watch my pup. He was sending me pictures of where the dog will sleep and during the stay. I had a great piece of mind cause my dog has some separation anxiety, but Ricky was patient and helped ease Bobby with lots of walks to the dog parks in the area. Over all Ricky was a pleasure to work with and my dog had a paw-some time. Would definitely book again in the future!!
Unfortunately this was not a great experience for our dog. It was evident that Ricky really loves dogs, but he is not currently set up to host them in a reasonable way. He lives in a small apartment on the second floor that is only accessible by an outdoor, grated staircase - that both terrified our dog and hurt his paws. A dog with smaller paws would not be able to walk up the stairs without assistance. Ultimately the weekend turned out ok, our dog (who is usually easy going) just came back tenderfooted and anxious — but without any real harm done.
Ricky is among the very best sitters that we have had. Took long walks and loves my dog!

Ricky was so great with my pup and very flexible/understanding with some last minute changes. He’ll be my go-to for pet care whenever I’m in Ouray!
We’re so grateful to have found Ricky to watch our dog, Leia, while we were traveling and doing a few hikes that she couldn’t join us on. From the very beginning, Ricky was incredibly communicative and attentive, he took the time to ask all the right questions about Leia’s routine, preferences, and quirks, which immediately gave us peace of mind. Throughout the time he cared for her, Ricky provided updates and photos, which we really appreciated. It was clear from his messages that he was both attentive and genuinely cared about Leia’s well-being. She looked happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for in every update. It’s always hard to leave your pet behind, but Ricky made it easy to enjoy our trip knowing she was in such good hands. We will absolutely be booking with him again in the future and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter!

Schedule
Currently retired and have lots of time for walks. Daily cruises to the amphitheater and box canyon. Lots of river walks and also time for dog parks

Safety, trust & environment
I have a large living room with lots of beds and toys. If the weather is bad we can hang inside and play indoor putting with the dogs. If it's sunny then it's outside time for sure
