Safety, trust & environment
The safety of your pet and the trust that you and I have are extremely important to me. If there are specific tasks I should not do, please let me know. Typically, I will feed your pet as per instructions, play with them, and take them on walks (I will ask you how long of a walk). We will discuss and go into detail on your pet’s care.
Ratings and reviews
Ricky was incredibly conscientious and good with our kitty and bunny. Our kitty had some medical issues come up the week prior to my departure, and Ricky stepped right up to the task. Gave our boy his meds, and was able to put a cone on him to put steroid crem on his tail. He befriended our boys quickly and seemed to enjoy their company as much as they enjoyed his. Ricky sent me updates and pics throughout his stay, and was quick to respond when I checked in. Our home was in order when we arrived home. I highly recommend Ricky. I am a bit bummed that he's leaving VT after college graduation next month, as we are in transition with pet sitters, as our one the past five years is heading to med school. Don't hesitate to book with Ricky!
Ricky did an amazing job with our pup! She can be a bit of a pill with strangers, and Ricky made friends quickly and took expert care of her, providing regular updates and pics. Thanks again!
Our dog loved hanging out with Ricky! I was a little hesitant at first when it came to hiring someone new because our youngest, Cassady, is reactive around new people and can be really selective in who he warms up to. Ricky was great though! Followed directions on greeting our youngest, was super patient while Cassady stepped into his comfort zone, and updated us frequently after we left. We came home to two very relaxed and happy dogs. Can't wait to work with Ricky again!
Ricky was willing to roll with whatever we threw at him and went above and beyond when he house and dog sat for us. We live out in the country with no WiFi hotspots on a dirt road. Construction work cut our Internet line Ricky quickly figured out how he could text us messages and photos of our dog. He also was our stand in when they were repairing the broken Internet line while we were away. Ricky is an amazing communicator and really pampered our senior dog. I highly recommend Ricky to others who love and cherish their pets. 10 out of 10!!!
You will never find a more caring soul than Ricky Davis. Ever since he started watching our beloved pooch he's felt like part of the family. Among being empathetic, gentle and someone with a seemingly natural ability to bond with animals he is organized and flexible and he follows instructions to a T. On multiple occasions Ricky has been able to accommodate for unexpected issues or delays and has been communicative and understanding while maintaining his cheerful attitude and giving the highest quality of care.
Ricky is a very happy, timely, and responsible caregiver. His work ethic proves that he has a passion for caring for animals, and he always makes sure he’s done an outstanding job. 10/10 would recommend choosing Ricky to take care of your fuzzy friends, they will be in great hands!!

Schedule
I am currently working a full time job and am a graduate student, so check my calendar to see when I am free. We should be able to work something out. I am able and willing to take care of your pet on weekdays in the early morning and after work (typically after 4 or 5 pm). On Saturdays and Sundays, I am free all day to take care of your pet.
