- I've taken care of both my dog and partner's cat through health, sickness, old age, and end of life. - As a former biologist, and with a vet technician in the family, I'm experienced and observant when it comes to pet health and behavior. - I'm calm, patient, and put myself in the minds of pets I interact with. Strange humans are big and intimidating to small animals, so I work on building comfort and trust first, and give them space to do so. I'd like to think I haven't met a pet I couldn't befriend yet!

Safety, trust & environment
Privacy is important to me, and I'm a neat and tidy person, so if pet sitting in your home I'll stay only in designated areas, mind my own business, and as with camping, leave no trace.

Rick has been a great dog walker for my 5 yr old lab. Rick is punctual and accommodating. She was very apprehensive at the beginning but he managed to get her to like him. I can see that he truly loves dogs and genuinely is interested in making them comfortable. My lab is very happy to see him and waits to be walked.

Schedule
I'm self-employed and set my own hours so my schedule is very flexible. My weekday mornings are the most free, while afternoons and evenings can also work.
