I’ve also lived and worked on a hobby farm, caring for horses, cows, chickens, ducks, and other animals. I believe in calm, respectful, positive reinforcement-based care. I pay attention to each animal as an individual - their routines, personality, boundaries, and the little things that help them feel secure and comfortable in their own home. Alongside animal care, I’m a professional property manager with more than 10 years of experience managing apartment buildings, individual homes and apartments, my own properties, and luxury short-term rentals. This means I’m comfortable not only caring for pets, but taking genuine responsibility for an entire property, noticing when something isn’t right, handling everyday household issues, and communicating promptly with owners when needed. Please note: I only accept sits in clean, well-maintained homes in safe, pleasant locations. I take considerable pride in the way I care for the homes entrusted to me and look for the same level of care when choosing where my daughter and I stay.

I primarily offer in-home pet sitting, so my goal is to keep your pets comfortable and secure in the environment and routine they already know. I follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, household rules, sleeping arrangements, and any individual needs or quirks. Because I work remotely, I’m home much of the day and can provide plenty of companionship, supervision, potty breaks, and attention. I’m very mindful of doors, gates, leashes, and other safety considerations, and I never take unnecessary risks with someone else’s pet. I have over a year of professional pet-sitting experience and more than 10 years of professional property-management experience, so caring responsibly for both your pets and your home comes very naturally to me. I communicate openly, provide regular updates, and treat every home and animal entrusted to me with genuine care and respect.

Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into our everyday routine. We’re early risers, usually up around 6 a.m., and generally head out for our first walk within the first hour. We love being outdoors, so this is often a nice long walk to start the day. Throughout the day, there are plenty of opportunities for potty breaks and outdoor time, plus at least one or two additional walks. One of our favorite times to head out again is just before sunset. For dogs who are accustomed to it and have their owners’ permission, we love finding safe places where they can run and explore off leash, particularly in the morning and again toward the end of the day. Most importantly, we adapt our routine to your dog. Whether they’re energetic and need long adventures, older and prefer gentle strolls, or have a very specific established schedule, we’re happy to maintain the routine that makes them happiest and most comfortable.

- We love dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities! Before a sit, I’d love to know about your dog’s normal routine, where they sleep, whether they’re allowed on furniture, their recall/off-leash habits, and any quirks, fears, medical needs, or behavioral considerations. If your dog is large and tends to pull on leash, please let me know and ensure they have appropriate walking equipment that makes them manageable and safe. Because I travel with my young daughter, I cannot accept dogs with a history of aggression toward children. If your dog simply hasn’t spent much time around children and you’re unsure how they’ll respond, that’s completely different - I’m very comfortable discussing that with you, and we’ve had wonderful experiences with dogs whose owners initially weren’t sure.
