Growing up on a farm, working as an animal attended at an eagle care center, assisting births, raising, and care for various species of both large and small animals, and assisting with animal rehabilitation, not to mention caring for five fur babies of my own, I have garnered an exceptional amount of experience and knowledge of all aspects of care for numerous types and ages of fur babies. Each fur baby’s situation is different and each has their own unique personality, I tailor my care to, and center it on, that fur baby’s individual needs, interests, and established routine.

Having three cats and two dogs, each with their own schedules, personalities, and needs, I understand how each fur baby is different and, like children, raised differently. Meeting new people can be stressful for fur baby’s. So, first and foremost, I respect and adhere to any schedule, procedures, and wishes of the fur baby’s owner so that the interaction with fur baby is as “normal” for them as possible. I approach any fur baby with love and respect and allow them to see that they may trust me prior to actively engaging them. I follow any instructions the owner sets and provide a summary of the interaction, actions performed, and pictures and videos of the fur baby.

Richard was great with our dog Ruby! He was very attentive and gave plenty of updates and pictures/videos while we were out of town.
Richard did a great job caring for our four-legged kids! He was responsive and communicative throughout the time we were out of town. It was comforting knowing they had Richard there with them. Not only that, but he also did a wonderful job maintaining our home while we were gone (not easy with a muddy backyard and 100 lb dog).We look forward to having Richard watch them again later this month!
Richard’s bio and pics of his fur babies stood out to me, and I sent him a request to walk my dog while I was going to be out of town. We met and my dog, Rocco, immediately was comfortable with Richard. Richard took the time to get to know Rocco and his likes and dislikes. I typically do not like leaving my baby with a stranger but Richard sent a detailed note about the visit and sent a lot of pictures. I could defiantly tell Rocco was at ease and had a good time. I highly recommend!!
I have two dogs and two cats. Though all my animals are friendly they typically have to warm up to strangers. However, my two cats really surprised me as they immediately went to Richard and let him rub on them. Normally, my two dogs both bark at people they don’t know well, and after an initial bark they both let Richard toss their favorite toys to them in the yard—which is something they do not do. I will be using Richard anytime I have to book and he is available!
I will definitely continue to boom with Richard. He obviously loves animals. His visit reports are thorough, and the pictures made me smile. I can tell Pele had a great time.

I am married military and currently finishing my Master of Arts Degree in History Education online. Therefore, I my availability remains open and can be tailored to meet you and your fur baby’s needs.
