We are retired. Rich enjoys golf and Jeannette is involved in bible study, book club, and bunco. One of us is typically home but we will sometimes take in a movie or go out to eat.

Our yard is fenced and we are always out there with them. They are free to be on sofas. Rich sleeps in family room with them, if need be. We prefer to keep it to two dogs at a time, but on occasion we will have cross-over pick-up/drop-offs for a night or two with more. We know the dogs and how they get along, and we've never had a problem.

All non-aggressive dogs weighing up to 40 lbs. are welcome to come over to my home. We no longer will take ones that are not house trained, or ones who can't be left alone for a short time.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We will walk around my neighborhood, soaking up some sunshine and stretching our legs. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog is welcome to sleep wherever he feels most comfortable, sofa, dog bed, floor. We do not have them sleep in our bed. Please feel free to bring your dog's favorite pillow, blanket or dog bed from home. Crate if crate trained. Time I'll spend with your dog: My wife and I are both retired. We will be able to give your dog plenty of one-on-one attention.

Hello! We’re Richard and Jeannette. Having undergone advanced screening, we have been met face-to-face and our home has been inspected. I had Shelties growing up that would swim on rafts in the pool and if they couldn't get back to the edge they would bark to be rescued. Jeannette and I had a Golden Retriever when we lived in Minnesota. We can't wait to have dogs in our home again as we miss canine companionship. Since we are retired, we can give your dog(s) all the attention they deserve and look forward to do so! Take a look at our photos to check out our home and yard to see where your dog will be staying. The price listed is for a 24 hour stay.

Richard and Jeanette were fantastic sitters for our 12 year old dog. She felt right at home. We loved the atmosphere of the home. They have made their home into a very welcoming place for our pets. Their backyard is well protected and very shady, our dog loved it there. We will use them again, no problem.
Bentley and Royce had a great time and are always well cared for in Richard's home. I received a lot of updates and pictures, which I appreciate.
Our Golden Retriever, Bucky, was in great hands with Richard and Jeanette for his first stay with them for four days! It was nice to know that someone who loves dogs was around with him all the time, and gave him the attention and play time that he needed :) He's ready for another visit soon!
Our dog had a wonderful time.
