I love nature and giving pets the opportunity to relax and play where they feel the most comfortable. We can walk the park grounds right outside our door, relax on the deck, or snuggle on the couch. We can also hop in the Jeep and go exploring if they prefer. Every pet is different and my goal is to always meet them right where they are.

We'll schedule a meet and greet so that you feel comfortable with me and my family and we can get to know you and your pet. It's important for me to understand your pet's unique personality, dietary needs, physical abilities, emotional needs, and other little quirks that make them who they are. The more details the better! Your pet will be treated as a part of our family and we celebrate individuality in our home. For instance, our Graham has food allergies so we cook and prepare the bulk of his meals. He doesn't like the sound of the dog waste can closing, and he's afraid of mail carts and the cleaning service cart, so we know he chooses to keep his distance. We love him to bits and none of these things are inconveniences to us. If it takes more time because they walk slowly or they're afraid of certain sounds or movements, then these are great opportunities to provide extra love and reassurance. For your peace of mind and the tender loving care for your pet, tell us everything you would like us to know.

I base the day around the specific needs of your pet. I tailor their activities accordingly to ensure they are engaged mentally, physically, and emotionally.

We are a pet-centered family. Fur babies have been at the heart of our home for over 20 years. We've rescued dogs and cats across various stages of life, some with special needs, and loved them well into their senior years. We’re conveniently located near 101, making for an easy drop off and pickup. We provide personalized care, tailored to the specific needs of your pet. Whether it's adhering to the dietary requirements of their meals, administering medication, or modifying walks and play to accommodate any physical limitations or developmental needs. Animals of all types tend to gravitate to me. I'm patient and playful. If they just need a calm presence to cuddle with or a buddy to play fetch and get their zoomies out, I adapt to the needs of your pet. Our home is filled to the brim with a love for pets and their care. My wife leads a community for pet parents and my daughter is a future vet who makes every animal she meets her best friend and desires to rescue as many she can.

Mystique and Richard did a fantastic job. I could not recommend a better duo for your pet sitting needs. I don't use sitters often and their communication and photos made my day of travel to a National Park much more relaxing. The communication before was also top notch in organizing the meet up, and exchange of both Elli and her personal items.
Words cannot express how wonderful Richard and Mystique are and the loving care they provide for our high energy puppy. They treat him like family, and he gives them hugs and kisses during daycare drop off. They also take the time to give our puppy leash training on walks. Absolutely recommend Richard and Mystique.
We had a wonderful experience and would give more than 5 stars if we could! Our dog was so comfortable and happy during her stay, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Communication was excellent throughout our trip - we received regular updates and felt confident that our dog was well cared for.
