**“I have been around pets my entire life and have raised and cared for many dogs over the years. This experience has given me a strong understanding of canine behavior, routines, and training. One of my proudest accomplishments was training a hunting dog to respond reliably to hand signals and whistle commands, which required patience, consistency, and clear communication.** What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with dogs combined with the time and attention I can provide as a retiree. I am available throughout the day and night, so pets receive plenty of supervision, companionship, exercise, and care. I am comfortable working with puppies, adult dogs, and senior pets, and I always take the time to learn each pet’s unique personality and needs. My goal is to provide a safe, loving environment and give pet owners confidence that their pets are being cared for by someone experienced, responsible, and genuinely passionate about animals.

Richard is an exceptional caregiver. My two mutts LOVED their time away from mum and it showed in their affection for Richard when I returned to bring them back home. Richard is responsive and prompt with communication, and he was willing to accommodate our normal feeding and outdoor schedules. We received lots of photos and some video. Rio and Beau settled in quickly and always looked relaxed and content. I've been a Rover client for many caregivers across the country because my husband and I travel for work. It's always a little nerve-racking trying to find a new caregiver and I feel so very blessed to have found Richard and his wife Debbie. We are looking forward to being repeat clients. Richard was a great dog sitter! We left during 4th of July weekend, a particularly tough weekend as our dog is afraid of fireworks. Richard made sure our dog was taken care of, felt safe, and sent pics all weekend showing how well she was doing. Would highly recommend!

Schedule
I am retired, so I have a very flexible schedule and can look after pets any time during the day or night. Pet care easily fits into my daily routine because I am home most of the time and can provide regular attention, feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and any special care they may need.
