I've lived in rural areas since I was a kid, gaining experience with everything from chihuahuas, cats, and gerbils (I really don't want to walk your gerbil) to pits, huskies, and dogs that were almost horses. I enjoy animals more than people and love taking care of them. At my house I currently have two dogs, five cats, two parakeets, a snake, and a bearded dragon. I've cultivated my love for animals into my kids, both for our own and others.

I treat my pets very well, and my kids sometimes think I love my dogs more than them (at least dogs don't argue about cleaning their room). My dogs are on a tight feeding schedule and spend equal amounts of time indoors and outdoors in a large, fenced-in yard. My cats have their own personalities. Two stay outside by choice, one comes and goes as he pleases, and the other two stay inside most of the time. They have a bowl of food that stays full, grazing as they like. The youngest cat is sitting on my lap and trying to distract me from writing this currently, actually. Your pets will be treated with the same high degree of love and care that I treat my own.

Richard was great with my dogs while we were away for a week. Great communication and updates for every walk. Handled them really well, they can be a handful on walks but he was absolutely great with them. 10/10 will reach out to him again!
Richard was amazing with our three pups! Our pups enjoyed their time with him! Definitely recommend him and we will be using him in the future!
My family and I left on a week long trip and left our 3 dogs with Richard. He sent constant updates and pictures to make sure we always knew what was going on back home and had piece of mind. Will definitely be using him again!
Richard is great with my 2 large dogs. They love seeing him and getting a chance to play! As soon as they see him they know they get to go for a walk. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I work as a self-employed writer and landscaper during the majority of the year. During the colder season I have a lot of downtime that gets dedicated to writing and house care. I do odd jobs on the side, including caring for people's pets when they need someone else to pick up the slack.
