Having cared for my own pets, including four wonderful cats and a variety of dogs—ranging from a black Labrador-greyhound mix to two energetic miniature Yorkshire terriers—I bring both knowledge and genuine affection to every pet I look after. In addition to my own pets, I’ve cared for numerous Golden Retrievers and Golden Labs, so I’m familiar with their playful nature, boundless energy, and love of cuddles. Whether it’s ensuring your dog gets the exercise they need, providing companionship for a shy or senior pet, or keeping up with a high-energy pup, I’m here to give them the same love and care they’d get from you. Richard was punctual and really friendly. Bear, as usual was a bit barky at first, but he wasn’t intimidated and she warmed to him quickly. Bear obviously had a great walk because she was exhausted for the rest of the day! Richard kept us updated and hand overs were no problem at all. Would 100% recommend and will ask him to walk Bear again in the future.
Richard is very polite and patient. His love for dogs is second to none. Highly recommended.

Schedule
Pet care fits well into my schedule as I’m available Sunday through Wednesday morning, with flexibility to provide attentive and loving care during those times.

I always ask about their daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any specific preferences or quirks. I also want to know if they have any medical conditions, allergies, or medications, as well as their behavior around other dogs, people, or new environments. Learning about their favourite activities, toys, and treats helps me create a fun and enjoyable experience tailored to them. I also like to know if there are any training cues or rules you follow at home so I can stay consistent and reinforce their good habits. By understanding these details, I can provide the safest, happiest, and most stress-free care for your dog.
