Local pet care, love, and training
Hello, my name is Richard “Brock”. I am certified in first aid & pet CPR. I’m a registered evaluator for the AKC and have evaluated dozens of dogs for their CGC tests (Canine good citizen). I’m also a regular at dog training/behavior workshops and conferences (most notably the IACP). Please feel free to contact me with any inquiries or questions, thank you! I volunteered at my first shelter when I was 9 walking dogs. In the past 20 years I’ve worked as a dog trainer and continued my volunteer work across the US and Canada. I’ve also spent time training therapy dogs, service dogs, as well as training future K9 police dogs in detection and bite work. I spent time in California training dogs in rattlesnake avoidance. In my pictures you can see some of the dogs I’ve worked with and some of the group classes I’ve lead. In addition to my professional experience, I’ve had many of my own pets of all shapes and sizes along the way. I recognize how important it is for our pets to have continued love and attention when we have to leave them at home. If you choose for me to work with your pet I can assure you they will have their needs met and will get plenty of love and attention along the way. Safety, trust & environment
There are three dogs and multiple birds in my house. I recently lived in a home with 7 dogs. It’s important that each animal within the house has their own needs met and are treated accordingly.

Richard did very well for us and our dogs were happy, healthy and tired when we arrived home. Updates and videos were excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to re-book Richard!
This was our first time leaving Penny alone with Brock, I was nervous leaving but he quickly calmed my nerves by how comfortable he was with her, talking to her & of course giving her all of his attention. I would definitely recommend Brock & have already booked him for our 2 week vacation!!
Richard is great! He clearly loves and respects animals, and takes his position seriously. He took the time to meet our dog on several occasions in advance of our trip to learn about her health needs. He is prompt, easy to talk to, and took very good care of the house, yard, and our fur babies. We’re hoping to book with him again soon for another getaway.
Richard looked after my pup Emma on short notice for an evening. He arrived on time and was good to deal with. Emma seemed to have a good time. I would definitely hire him again.
We were so pleased with Richard and his care with Franki! We received daily updates, videos and pictures. Our dog is a big girl with lots of energy, so it was such peace of mind seeing how Richard took care of her, took her out to get exercise and we could see that Franki felt comfortable and happy. We would definitely hook Richard again.
Richard was great with our fur babies. Both seemed well taken care of, and we appreciated the pictures assuring us everything was well at home while we were away. Will be happy to rebook with him next time we go away.

Schedule
I am in school so I will spend the majority of my time working on projects while hanging out with the animals I care for!
