Pet care experience
Super fun, calm dog handler. Acres to play in!
Years of experience boarding dogs. Been a dog lover since I was old enough to beg for one as a kid! Never looked back. I live in a large house on an acre of land down a private road with fields and the Thames surrounding. Very well versed in dog behaviour and feel I command a confident and safe attitude when handling dogs.

Willow was well looked after while on “holiday” for the week with Richard. He sent lots of photos & updates & she honestly looked like she was having the best time. I would highly recommend him if you’re looking for someone to look after your doggie while away. We will definitely be leaving Willow with him again. Thank you Richard 🤩

Richard helped us out at very short notice, with a drop-in visit to feed and let out our two cocker spaniels. He is very professional, quick to respond and took great photos of the dogs so we could see they were happy. Thank you!

Richard was amazing , Bronnie loved him and had the best time playing with the other dogs , in and out of the paddling pool . Richard was so on it and was brilliant with her , so grateful to him for looking after her so well .

Richard was amazing with our crazy doodle. I feel like we’ve hit the jackpot finding Richard and his super set up for doggos in his wonderful house by the lake. Richard has a great knowledge of dogs and was able to read our dog’s behaviour very well. He kept us informed throughout and sent pictures and updates. Thank you Richard!

Richard has been fantastic with my slightly nervous Lola. I’ve had regular updates lots of pics and a very tired girl after a weekend of playing with other dogs.

Richard was amazing with Milo,we received regular updates and pictures over his two days of boarding. We are very happy to use Richard again in the future and recommend him to anyone who needs a safe and happy place for their dogs.

Schedule
I have a very easy work from home schedule so am around for the doggos all day everyday. I also have a support network close by in case of emergencies etc.
Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced acre of land down a quiet private road with the Thames and fields nearby. I have a super happy friendly Australian shepherd that’s wonderful with all types of dog. I will always adhere to rules set by the owner with regards to risk off lead etc. Every dog is precious and safety is of the utmost importance. Dogs have the run of the house, happy to sleep upstairs or downstairs, whichever the owner prefers.
Pets
A typical day
Up early for a decent walk around the meads (depending on the dog being walked it’ll be around 5Km-8km), feed the ducks and make some new dog friends. Usually back before 8 for breakfast and naps. Around midday we’ll attempt some agility play in the garden with a little training thrown in. Depending on energy levels will go for a medium/long walk along the river to work up an appetite for din dins. Naptime again + great British bake off in the evening then Bed
