Outstanding cuddler of dogs
I have helped my parents look after our dogs for over 20 years. I love playing/walking/cuddling furry friends! My uncle runs a dog daycare and I have helped him on occasion look after up to 12 dogs at a time.

Walter was well taken care of by Richard and was happy to hang in the sunny backyard all day. We appreciate the companionship for our guy so he didn't have to be home alone all day. Richard was really responsive throughout the process and we will definitely be returning!
Richard was a great sitter, who I couldn’t recommend highly enough, Cheeka absolutely loved having him take care of her for a first time. He clearly loves dogs and knows how to handle large dogs with ease and will definitely be looking to book again
Richard did a great job of looking after Leo whilst we were away on holiday for 10 days. Leo clearly grew attached to him. Richard was highly communicative and kept us updated with photos and left our home spotless. Would definitely use him again.

Richard is great with dogs. He loves to play with them and my Labrador, Radar, is always excited to see him. I can rely on Richard to take him on walks, feed him, and know that I will get lots of photos when I am away to reassure me that all is well. Richard is reliable, very responsible and understands the importance of ensuring the safety and welfare of someone else’s dog. His communication is great and I can highly recommend him to others looking for someone to care for their dog!
I could not recommend Richard more as a pet sitter. I have two elderly west highland white terriers (and o am a bit dotty about them!) and Richard regularly cares for them as though they are his own. He is responsible, punctual, polite and happens to be an authentic animal lover. He is a big guy - a gentle giant - but always seems to be on the floor cuddling an animal! He takes animal care very seriously, medicine will be administered and happy snaps will be sent to you! You will struggle to find a more upstanding young man - I regularly trust Rich with my car, house keys and pets. He is also a former school teacher and has been running an exclusive boarding house - so hundreds of parents are trusting him with their teenagers too! I am happy for any prospective pet owners to reach out directly to me for further info about the lovely Richard.

Schedule
I am currently studying for my Bar Course this year. I only have 8 contact hours a week so the rest of the time I am available to work from home and look after and play with any dogs around! I am 6’5” and weigh 110kg so am more than capable of walking the biggest dogs. Despite my size, I also love wrapping up on a sofa and knitting/crocheting with dogs that just want to cuddle!

I have a fenced garden and live in Highbury and Islington. I am a student and mostly work from home so can spend lots of time playing with and caring for your dog.
A typical day
I love to start the day with a stimulating walk in the local park, taking a ball and playing some games. I respect each dogs desire to sleep and rest but am always there if they need a reassuring cuddle.
