I’ve been caring for dogs all my life, beginning with my best-friend’s awesome red-nosed pit bull when I was 15. My schedule is fairly flexible and I can often work from home, which means I can accommodate all your service needs and provide your pet with the attention he/she needs and deserves while you’re away. Richard was great taking care of our pitbull, Paulo, and I couldn't recommend him more highly.
I recently had a great experience booking pet care through Rover. Initially hesitant to leave Rufus with a stranger outside of the usual vet or groomer, I decided to book Richard. Throughout the booking, Richard's regular updates with pictures and videos reassured me that Rufus was in good hands. It was evident that he cared for Rufus as if he was his own pet. I would not hesitate to book Richard again in the future
Rich is the absolute best. He has such a calming presence and I was so excited to find someone so close by with great access to a park, who is active! He took our girl on runs and long walks through the park and always sent me pictures and updates. I could rest easy while we visited family knowing she was in good hands, and we will absolutely be rebooking!

Richard was fantastic!! He was so wonderful and accommodating with Percy, would highly recommend. In particular, if you have a dog that just loooovees to play with other dogs - Percy loved playtime with Richard’s pup and had a great time.
Richard is a huge dog lover and dogs just seem to gravitate towards him! I always felt comfortable and assured that my dog was in good hands whenever he watched her. He's a great mix of playful and responsible. I highly recommend him to look over your furry friends

Schedule
I’m working from home full time, with flexibility throughout the day. During the week, early mornings and evenings after 5:30pm are best for walks/drop-ins etc.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a spacious apartment where your pet can have his or her own space if needed. I also happen to live directly across the street from Prospect Park, where I’d plan to spend time with your pet going for long walks or runs.
A typical day
You can expect me to spend lots of time with your pet in Prospect Park, which is literally right outside my doorstep. I’m an active runner, so if your dog is up for it a nice long run might be in the cards too.
