Caring Physio passionate about dogs

Pet care experience

I have a genuine passion for dogs and providing them with the care, attention, and compassion they deserve. As a physiotherapist, I bring a strong understanding of wellbeing, patience, and attentive care into everything I do displays qualities that naturally extend to looking after animals. I’m also planning to further my studies in animal physiotherapy, which reflects my long term commitment to working closely with and supporting animals. I regularly look after dogs for friends and family, so I’m confident handling different personalities and needs. I enjoy keeping fit and active, which means I’m always happy to provide walks, playtime, and plenty of engagement to keep dogs happy and healthy. I work from home, giving me a high level of flexibility throughout the day to provide consistent care and attention. I’m able to use my days off during the week as well as weekends to offer reliable and dedicated services. I take the responsibility of caring for someone else’s pet very seriously and always aim to create a safe, loving, and enriching environment for them.

Richard was very efficient and prompt in arranging a meet and greet before the booking. When I left Holly and Max for their day with Richard, they were happily exploring his flat. They seem to have had a good day and a couple of walks with him.

Richard was an absolutely fantastic dog sitter, and I couldn’t recommend him more highly. From the moment we met him, it was clear how genuine his love for dogs is, and that really showed in the way he cared for mine. He was incredibly attentive, making sure my dog was comfortable, well exercised, and happy at all times. I really appreciated the regular updates and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was obvious that my dog felt relaxed and safe in his care. Richard went above and beyond to stick to my dog’s routine and needs, and his reliability and professionalism made the whole experience stress free. I would not hesitate to use him again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter.

I can’t recommend Richard highly enough. Rocco is a very talkative, loud, high-energy 14-month-old pup with separation anxiety, so finding the right person to care for him was really important to me. Richard has truly gone above and beyond—taking him on trips in the car to explore new areas, and spending hours each day on long, engaging walks. I’ll admit I was quite nervous at first. Rocco can be a lot for new people—he barks, jumps up, and plays rough, and he is part Rottweiler. But any worries I had disappeared almost immediately. Richard didn’t just handle Rocco well—he genuinely appreciated him for exactly who he is: dopey, loud, and full of energy. It’s clear Richard has a real understanding of dogs and a natural confidence that made all the difference. Knowing Rocco was not only safe but happy and thriving gave me complete peace of mind. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to ask Richard again in the future.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better person to look after my little pup, Loki. From the moment I left, I knew my dog was in safe, caring hands. I got regular updates (which I loved), and it was so clear my dog had completely taken to him—tail wagging, big happy energy, and looking very much at home. When I came back, my dog was relaxed, well cared for, and maybe even a little sad to see his new best friend go! He’s incredibly reliable, kind, and clearly has a natural connection with animals. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like their own, I genuinely can’t recommend him enough.
